Aw thsnkyou these are some of the esiodes that were pure classic on seoul 1945 esspacily the one where Suk-kyoung slaps Hae-kyoung and then to hit her again and hae-kyoung caught her hand and said"I let you hit me once because,you were upset but not twice"or something like that. I rember that espiode like yesterday I think that was the day I was late and I caught that part.

I think I can almost move on and enojoy the new historical drama that's on now.Who am I kidding I can't let go seoul 1945 was the best and plus I have no clue as to what's going on in the new drama besides all the fighting and blah...

Why is Park Chang-ju always somewhere in the picture in alot of the pictures of the cast together he's always in them and on some site when that talk about the drama and its cast his name is right up there with the 4 main characters.Am I missing something because I know when the commcial to watch seoul 1945 would come it.It said the live of four ambtious adults as they work and live in seoul not 5 ambtious adults ,4. so park chang-ju you got ta bounce your stick'in up the four characters air.Find anther place to shine just not with the four main characters okay,bastard.

Well maybe he just stole the show.

I thought the four leads did great jobs.

But, admit it, sometimes you felt sorry for the "communist hunting dog." Given what a horrible character he was, the actor who played him did a superb job. (You might want to see him in "Gangster Wife" where he did a great job as a comedian.)

Actors, especially such as Park Sang Myun (Park Chang Ju) generally love the opportunity to play baddies. No need to feel sorry for him. I would guess it's like they get the chance to be evil and get away with it. He probably thought he'd died and gone to heaven when he got this part. Even more so when he won an award for it at the KBS Drama Awards. I've seen him cast in dramas as a nice guy, a teddy bear type, and very, very briefly as a gangster, and indeed, he did steal the show in Seoul 1945, but also, he was the nemesis of Choi Oon Hyuk. That pretty much guarantees majorness to a non-lead character. Anyway, he was so good at being bad. Got to see some of his movies now.

He also played a good guy in "Green Rose", a terrific drama which I highly recommend. The VC has it, by the way.

Someone in one of the other threads posted a You Tube clip that showed him as being a somewhat nice guy where a woman was raping him. How ironic.

It still didn't make me like him anymore. But I was like that with Kim Ho Jin (Dong Woo) after he was in Yellow Hankie although not as bad as Commie boy. I liked Kim Ho Jin in this a lot.

so true it csertainly doesn't make me feel sorry for him it might shock seeing that movie and seeing ahow nice but he was still a bad commie.Taht's a good point to anachronista that you brought out about people like love to be that bad and get away with it because there are times when we all feel like just being plain and mean and hold ourselves back.But the idea of doing anything you want and getting away with it you got'da love and most characters that do get away with it except Park Chang Ju.
