I am thoroughly enjoying this show -- I'm surprised that alot of you are not liking it nearly as much as I am. I think the characters behave more realistically than on alot of the drama, and I look forward to watching the next episode. Also, I like the pace of the show.

You definately have a point, Grace -- that line should have been taken out at the writer's meeting, because it sets up the drama to be predictable.

And I was busting chops when I wrote in a previous thread
(for "The Road Home" if I remember correctly) that according
to the laws of Kdramas, it was impossible for anybody to legally
get married in Korea.

Episode 8-9 where right after evil prosecutor arranges to have Isang catch him kissing EY outside her house and her deciding to get back together with him and break up with Isang.
#9 ended with Isang seeing him in the bridal shop with his fiancee.

I realized I spend a lot of my time watching this show calling Prosecutor Wang 4 letter words.

ON THEIR BED!) "You son of a *****" Oh and he can't kick Isang's ass so he keeps doing these little passive aggressive moves at work. Yeah I got a 4 letter word for that too.

He's such a better villain then Cheol on JW even though their characters are kinda driven by the same motivation.
Wang is more Machiavelli and better thought out.

I also hate that we're getting the edited version of the show. Here in Philly we've always gotten uncut versions.
Even thought it doesn't seem to be missing any critical plot points I want to see every min of the show.

Talk about being able to lie fast...Prosecutor Wang reminds me of the girl from Revenge of an Angel who could lie just as fast as the questions came without missing a beat. He can lie, lie, lie!
That eldest brother is pitiful and his mother...SMH

I can't believe he already had a lie set up for who Eoyeong was.
I'm glad she knows the truth now but the way she found out was just another kick in the gut of her pride.

.......there was a very sincere conversation between the middle son and his unhappy wife this past weekend. (Episodes 14 and/or 15.) Actually, it was mostly from that poor down-trodden daughter-in-law.

Very heart-felt and touching....and a well written scene.

I wish someone would smack that sarcastic Mother-in-law a few times.
Then make her do her own cooking, cleaning, laundry and grocery shopping.
That would teach her a lesson.

I was trying to remember why I could not understand her!!

She spent all that money buying him luxury brands and on the phone, complained about money for the kid!!

Does she think since he is divorced his family will accept a woman with a child!

Mom and Dad are trying to find him a never married, childless woman. Or, just childless woman!!!

Cripes, just a couple of bags of Cheez Doodles, and mom's ready to rent the reception hall for the wedding. Mom ~ the one who was so imprssed with her expensive clothes, said that she had the voice of an angel, lets mom win at cards, and let's not forget THE BIG APARTMENT, TOO.

I like when the girlfriend said to her possibly future sister-in-law.....

It feels like Eo young shouldn't be ready to love someone else yet, but I understand this is only 50 episodes long and we don't have time for the 'loves me, loves me not' song and dance we get on the 170+ dailies.

I am happy about that because I like this drama. It is paced well and I would love to see how it unwinds in the end. Should be a few comeuppance in there.

I like it, also. There have been some very funny scenes, but much of it is really heartfelt & moving.

OK, I was wrong.
I am now forced to agree, that this kdrama has possibilities.
Last night, (Sunday) was episode #17......more or less.

The younger sister, kinda bratty if you ask me,
saw the handsome co-worker of her sister's "almost" boyfriend ~

On Viikii I was only able to watch part 1 of Episode 12, then it told me too many people were online. Soju said "could not find" when I clicked.

I didn't even realize MindTV was editing out a few minutes in each episode till Min Joo mentioned it. The beach scene WAS better when not shortened. I guess the practical thing would be to just watch all of it online and not even bother with the TV version, but then what would I look forward to on Sat. & Sun. nights?

Was that the fastest make-up and break up in history? Sure Eo Young went a little far saying she wouldn't marry him, but I think Isang needs to learn to back off and let love take its course.

There is going to be a problem with the families, we know that for sure. He is so inexperienced and she is so hardened. I see lots of room for growth in these characters, and that in turn fueling the rest of the people involved. That is why I am enjoying the show so far.

Last night I realized where this show really differs from Jolly widows.

It's moving a little Too fast.
As the sat staring into each others eyes I realized Isang and Eoyoung had reach the point that in a daily wouldn't happen till episode 80-100.
I understand they are working against the clock with less episdoes but dang.
I wonder if Prosecutor Wang is gone forever? It was dumb but nice of Eoyoung to talk to his fiancee.
