Min Jung is so upset that Chil Bok cancelled the engagement.
Chil Bok: Ho Sae says he doesn’t love Soo Bin. He’s the one that has to live with her forever. How can we make him marry someone he doesn’t love.
Min Jung: Do you think marriage is child’s play that lasts for a year or two. Even though Ho Sae’s shaken up right now, he’ll come crying to us later for not making him marry Soo Bin.
Chil Bok: Calm down honey.
Min Jung: I can’t cancel this engagement. The whole world thinks that Ho Sae and Soo Bin are getting married. The two of their faces were even spread all over the newspaper. How are we going to deal with all the rumors that will follow. I can’t cancel this engagement.
Ho Sae looks for his plane tickets. Min Jung comes out and tells him that she ripped up the tickets. She tells Ho Sae to get married to Soo Bin or live as a bachelor forever next to her. Chil Bok announces that he is against this marriage that has already caused so much chaos.


Dae Jin is surprised to hear that Sae Byuk and Ho Sae have feelings for each other. Young Sook asks if this is the reason that she was going to Russia. Sae Byuk says that Ho Sae has decided to cancel his engagement to Soo Bin. As Sae Byuk says how scared she is for Soo Bin and what’s going to happen, Yeon Shil starts shouting for Sae Byuk to come out.
Yeon Shil tries to grab Sae Byuk but Young Sook gets in the middle and stops her. The elders sit down to talk about what’s going on.
Yeon Shil: (crying) What do I now? How can I live now?
Grandma: Stop crying and speak with words. Talk so we can understand.
Yeon Shil: Our Soo Bin’s engagement is going to be cancelled.
Grandma: What? Cancel the engagement? What does this mean?
Yeon Shil: That little thing that’s living in the extra room seduced Soo Bin’s fiancee. His eyes have flipped and now he wants to break up. And Dae Gu who is out of his mind agreed to the break up.
Young Sook: I think you’re mistaken about something but our Sae Byuk wouldn’t do something like that.
Grandma: Our Sae Byuk? Who’s our Sae Byuk? The only granddaughter I have is Soo Bin. Go get Sae Byuk. I want to hear what she has to say about all this. Go bring her over.
Sae Byuk gets called over to the elders. Yeon Shil tells Sae Byuk to get on her knees and starts yelling at her for stealing her new cousin’s fiancee even before the ink has dried on the adoption papers. Grandma gets mad at Dae Jin for taking Sae Byuk’s side. She says he should be taking the side of Soo Bin since they share the same blood. Sae Byuk apologizes for everything that has happened. She says that she tried to stay away from Ho Sae but it didn’t work out that way. Yeon Shil gets mad that Sae Byuk’s Russia assignment got cancelled. Yeon Shil reveals that she agreed to the adoption because she wanted to send Sae Byuk to Russia.
Tae Poong steps in and tries to protect Sae Byuk. He yells at Yeon Shil for taking out her anger on Sae Byuk. Everybody gets mad at Tae Poong for butting into the conversation. Tae Poong says that he’s going to protect his little sister

So Young gets a call from Hwa Ran. She starts telling Hwa Ran about what happened between Sae Byuk and Soo Bin. Tae Young grabs the phone and hangs up the cell phone. He gets mad at her for gossiping about his family.

Dae Gu tries to convince Soo Bin to let go of Ho Sae. She says she’s still going to fight this till the end no matter what Dae Gu says.
Dae Gu: I’d like you to quit Lohas and study some more in Italy.
Soo Bin: When have you ever paid attention to me? When I was in elementary school, you never knew what grade or class I was in. When I was applying to college, you never asked where I wanted to go. And how about when I started dating Ho Sae? You never even asked any questions about him. Why are you all of a sudden acting like you care and blocking my wedding plans?
Dae Gu: Am I trying to break you guys up for no reason? I want you to stop this engagement before you get more hurt. What’s so great about him that you’re trying to hang on like this?
Yeon Shil: You should be coaxing our poor little girl and not yelling at her! I went to your brother’s house and the whole family was siding with their less than one month adopted daughter. And what about our Soo Bin? Soo Bin is half dead. If she can’t cry on your shoulder who’s she going to rely on?
Dae Gu: Why do you go my brother’s house? What did you do there?
Soo Bin leaves as Yeon Shil and Dae Gu fight.


Ho Sae gets a text message signed by Sae Byuk asking to meet him. He shows up to the cafe and sees Soo Bin. She says she used Sae Byuk’s name since he wouldn’t have come if he knew it was her. Soo Bins says she wants them to just have some drinks and not think about their break up. She wants to go back to the way it was during the good times for just one hour.
Ho Sae: I don’t want to see you so weak. When you do this, I feel suffocated. I feel like I’m being strangled.
Soo Bin: Even if our love is gone, your words are really harsh.
Ho Sae: (kneeling in front of her) When I saw you for the first time at the airport…I told you there’s a proper way to say goodbye. But I didn’t keep my word. I don’t want to you see getting more damaged. I don’t want to hurt you. So, let’s end things now. Please sort your feelings out.
Soo Bin: For whose sake?
Ho Sae: I will repent this till the day I die. I’m sorry.
Soo Bin: Why are you crying? Don’t cry. Do you really hate me that much? Do you really want to break up with me that much?
Soo Bin runs out of the cafe. Ho Sae tries to run after her but she has already hopped into a cab.

Tae Poong finds Sae Byuk crying by herself in the rain. He wants her to go home but she’s too scared to go back. Tae Poong gets mad at Sae Byuk for not listening to him about staying away from Ho Sae. He also gets mad that she didn’t stick up for herself in front of Yeon Shil. Tae Poong says he doesn’t need such a stupid little sister and walks away. Sae Byuk grabs him and asks him to stay because then she’ll have no one else. Tae Poong reassures Sae Byuk that she’s still his little sister and she’s family.

Dae Jin and Young Sook decide that they need to tell Sae Byuk to give up on Ho Sae. They don’t think it’s right for her to be with her cousin’s ex-fiancee. Young Sook is in disbelief that Soo Bin and Yeon Shil tried to send Sae Byuk to Russia.

Tae Poong and Sae Byuk return home. Young Sook tells Sae Byuk to wash up and go to bed.

Soo Bin goes to some random spot by the water and cries her eyes out in the rain.

So Young gets a call that her scenario has been accepted. Her scenario will be made into a movie. So Young decides not to tell Tae Young’s family since they’re all depressed because of the Sae Byuk-Soo Bin drama. She tells Tae Young not to worry about not having a job since she’ll make all the money now.

Young Sook tells Sae Byuk that she needs to do what’s best which is give up on Ho Sae. She says it’s not right to be with her cousin’s ex-fiancee. Young Sook says aside from that, there’s no way Ho Sae’s mom will accept her. She tells Sae Byuk that she’d like her to meet someone whose family will love her and treat her right.

Kyeong Woo calls Tae Poong to meet. He wants to give him Na Young’s pictures from Africa. Kyeong Woo runs into Sae Byuk on the street.
Keyong Woo: Jang Sae Byuk! Do you live here?
Sae Byuk: Who are you?
Kyeong Woo: I’m a doctor from your hospital. You were there a couple of days ago.
Sae Byuk: Oh, hello. But, how do you know me?
Kyeong Woo: How can I not? I heard you received Na Young’s eye. Which side is it?
Sae Byuk: The…right..side.
Kyeong Woo: I see…it’s so ironic.
Kyeong Woo tells Sae Byuk to take good care of Na Young’s eye. Tae Poong comes out to meet Kyeong Woo to get the pictures. Kyeong Woo says he’d like to go visit Na Young.

Yeon Shil wakes up the tomorrow with a huge headache. She goes to check in on Soo Bin and sees that she didn’t come home last night.

Kyeong Woo: Kim Na Young! I am here! Aren’t you glad to see me! I’m sorry. I tried to do whatever I could to survive and now it took me half a year to see you. I saw Sae Byuk today. Why is your eye in her? How could you give your eye to the girl that killed you? Why did you do that?

I do not approve of this plot twist.

this drama is impossible ..Scooter is letting everyone abuse her , she is getting on my nerves !

I stopped watching, can't take the abuse.

We didn't know that before about Saebyeok being the one that Nayeong was avoiding before the car accident, right?? I was watching with my friend who didn't seemed surprised and thought they showed us it in the first episode or something. In either case, now we have a case were the word "ironic" can be used properly!

As far as Subin and mom, (yes I know they are going to keep going and going, thank you spoiler people who can't help yourselves) they really need to move on!!

Yeah but you need to be prepare for that. otherwise you might tear out your hair....well maybe not you.

I'm pretty sure we were never told, your friend is probably thinking of episode #2 where Subin's mom poked her in the eye with her umbrella and Scooter ran into the street and begged a passing car to take her to the hospital. (a passing car driven by Hosae)
Actually Subin has tried to run her over twice. She should really stay out of streets.

up to this annoying little twist I was enjoying it, I don't see why they have to do this.
a better twist would be for it to be Subin's fault. Granny would lament, Subin's mother would blame NY for dying (anyones fault but Subin.) Subin losing her only allies would sink further in to nutjobness.
