Dae Gu is surprised when Ho Sae tells him that his parents and Yeon Shil all know about the break up. Soo Bin tries to take Ho Sae outside to talk to him alone but this only makes Dae Gu more upset.

Soo Bin: No dad! You don’t need to listen to him. I won’t break up. Ho Sae and I need to talk about something. Dad, why don’t you go home first.

Ho Sae: I have nothing more to say to you, Soo Bin.

Dae Gu: What’s the reason for the break up?

Soo Bin: No, dad! Ho Sae and I just got into a little argument. Every couple has a little something like that before the wedding date..it’s nothing important.

Dae Gu: What is it? The reason for the break up?

Ho Sae: I don’t love Soo Bin. I thought things needed to change before it got too late. I’m sorry.

Soo Bin: Stop it! Please stop!

Dae Gu angrily gets up from the table and drags Soo Bin out of the restaurant. They get inside his car to talk. Soo Bin continues to tell Dae Gu that it’s not a big deal so he shouldn’t be upset.

Dae Gu: Do you think your father is an idiot!! Don’t try to divide the skies with your hands. Explain to me what happened. What went wrong with this engagement? And if what Ho Sae says is true..what’s the reason?

Soo Bin just sits in the car stunned and starts to cry.

Min Jung sent Yeon Shil a car as a present. Yeon Shil is so excited that she tells Dae Gu and Soo Bin about the car.

Dae Gu takes Yeon Shil into their room and tells her about his conversation with Ho Sae. Yeon Shil tries to explain that Ho Sae has already apologized for all that. This only makes Dae Gu more upset since Yeon Shil has been moving along with the engagement even still. Yeon Shil tries to convince him that Ho Sae is just being wishy-washy. She compares him to the time Dae Gu has the affair five years ago. Dae Gu gets mad that Yeon Shil for comparing him to Ho Sae. Yeon Shil says she won’t allow the to break up since Soo Bin has been through too much already. Dae Gu thinks that Yeon Shil just caught up in all the gifts. He grabs the car keys and threatens to return it to Min Jung. Yeon Shil stops him and says that she’ll take care of everything the next day.

Yeon Shil still doesn’t know what is best for her daughter. Soo Bin says that she knows Ho Sae’s hesitation won’t last too long. She says they can still live happily after getting married.

Meanwhile, Chil Bok tells Min Jung that Dae Gu came by his office to thank him for all the support Lohas is giving him. Chil Bok hesitates to tell Min Jung something but ends up asking her if they can hold off on the wedding. He says that Ho Sae turned in a letter of resignation. Min Jung says that she won’t let Ho Sae win this fight.

Ho Sae waits for Sae Byuk and has her step into his car. He tells Sae Byuk about the conversation he had with Dae Gu about the break up. Ho Sae also says that he’ll be leaving for the States soon.

Ho Sae: My leaving will be a good thing for Soo Bin. I’ll be gone for about a year. Will you wait for me until I come back? I’ll come back for you after a year whether you’re in Russia or Korea. Wherever you go, I’ll come find you as a proud man. Promise me that you’ll wait for me.

Sae Byuk: If I choose you, then I’ll be stealing my cousin’s fiance. And then what happens to my family..and then what about Soo Bin…and my mom and dad….and Grandma who approved my adoption and the brothers I love?

Ho Sae: For once in your life, can’t you live the way you want to?

Sae Byuk gets out of the car and walks away.

Ho Sae: If you can wait for me…will you wear the shoes I bought you to work tomorrow?

Yuri is still upset at Tae Poong for ruining her model job. He tells her that it was weird how skimpy her outfit was for a pig’s feet commercial. Tae Poong says that a shoe advertisement is not any better since only her feet will show. Yuri starts to eat since she’s been starving herself all day for the photo shoot. Tae Poong starts looking through his pockets for Yuri’s watch but realizes that it’s gone. The two of them start looking around to see if it dropped on the floor. Yuri sees it on the street but then a motorcyclist runs over it. Yuri reminds Tae Poong of how expensive the watch was. Yuri tells him that he can be her slave to repay her.

Sae Byuk runs into Young Sook on the street. Young Sook bought all the fixings to make homemade potstickers. Tae Poong sees the two women and runs after them to help with the bags. When he finds out about the potstickers, he asks Young Sook why she’s making food for a girl that’s leaving them for Russia and sticks his tongue out at Sae Byuk. Young Sook says Tae Poong is really treating Sae Byuk like a little sister now.

Min Jung and Chil Bok are shocked to hear that Ho Sae told Dae Gu about the break up. Min Jung gets up and starts to almost faint. Ho Sae tries to help her stay upright, but she just slaps him across the face.
The doctor comes over to look after Min Jung. When he comes out, the doctor tells Ho Sae how his mom risked her life to give birth to him against doctors advice.

Sae Byuk gets a text message to remind her of a routine check up for her eyes.

The whole family works together to make potstickers. Grandma looks at the time and tells So Young and Tae Young to go rest in their rooms. Grandma tells Young Sook to cook breakfast so that So Young can stay in her room all morning. Tae Young tells Grandma not to stress out So Young about getting pregnant. Dae Gu gets mad at Tae Young and So Young for the casual way they refer to each other. (he calls her Noona and she calls him Taeyoung and they should call each other Yobo ("Honey" to spouse)

So Young pushes Tae Young off the bed since she’s upset that Dae Gu yelled at her. She looks through her drawers to find Tae Young some medicine and sees that Tae Poong took the watch.
Taepoong denies it and defuses the situation by being playful.

Yeon Shil is snoring away but Dae Gu couldn’t sleep. During breakfast, Yeon Shil talks about how she couldn’t sleep all night due to all the stress. Dae Gu says that he wants Soo Bin to break up with Ho Sae. This makes Yeon Shil and Soo Bin really upset. Dae Gu reminds Yeon Shil to return the car back to Min Jung. Yeon Shil tells Soo Bin to ignore what Dae Gu said.

Sae Byuk looks at the shoes that Ho Sae bought her but doesn’t end up wearing them. So Young asks Tae Poong to return the watch back to her. Tae Poong tells her not to worry since he’ll pay her back. So Young gets extremely excited when Young Sook sends her on an errand to Hwa Ran’s store.

So Young sees Yoon Hee and tells Hwa Ran that she should buy her some Chinese herbal medicine too. Hwa Ran gets upset at how much she’s having to do for So Young.

Ho Sae sees that Sae Byuk didn’t wear the shoes he bought for her. Ho Sae tells Chil Bok that the Italian clients have requested to work with Sae Byuk. Chil Bok gets mad at Ho Sae since he’s the only reason that Sae Byuk is being sent off to Russia.

Yeon Shil tries to return the car keys. She says Dae Gu doesn’t like to receive extravagant gifts. Yeon Shil says she’s upset that Ho Sae told Dae Gu about the break up. Min Jung says that Ho Sae is just really immature. She tells Yeon Shil that the mothers need to stay strong even if the kids are being shaken up. She convinces Yeon Shil to use the car discreetly so that Dae Gu doesn’t find out.

Dae Gu calls Yeon Shil to make sure that she returned the keys to Min Jung. He also tells his assistant to halt all business with Lohas.

Tae Poong waits outside of Lohas for Sae Byuk. He takes her to the hospital for her check up.

Dae Gu overhears a conversation that Yeon Shil is having with Soo Bin. Yeon Shil talks about how Ho Sae is all messed up in the head due to another girl. Yeon Shil says she’ll stop Ho Sae from having feelings for Sae Byuk. Yeon Shil is startled to see that Dae Gu overheard the phone conversation. He demands to know what is going on.

We see the head doctor from NY's hospital talking to a man.
I'm glad you've returned so healthy, will you be coming back to the hospital?
They pass two nurses who start to talk about the man in loud voices.
"Long time no see. Isn't that Dr. Nam Kyungwoo that got into the accident with Dr. Nayoung?"
"Yes he's been getting rehabilitation in the states." "How ironic both in the same car but one lives and the other dies."
The chief pats him on the back and tells him not to worry about what people say.
As he's leaving he passes JSB and TP coming in for their appointment.
Dr. Nam stops and seems shocked to see Sae Byuk, Tae Poong stops too thinking he has seen the Doctor somewhere before.

I would definitely say it's tragic that one of them died and one of them lived, but it's not really ironic. That word is mis-used too often. Unless, there's some other twist that we don't know about but that the nurses do.

one thing, I was watching the fansub (for my proofing.) and that scene was a bit different then it played last night on the KBSworld one.
The doctor when he was saying "Nayoung had a good life, etc" made it sound like the people at the hospital may resent him for living and her dying.
but that's just speculation off what was said.
