what's wrong with this picture ki-joon MOM doesn't like In-young(this will cause problems in the future) who happens to be the daughter of her childhood friend.Anther reason why i don't like ki-joon's mom is she a fake and ignorant she needs ta stop front'in caz she ain't fool'in nobody.Plus do you see the way she treat her own sister she treats her like the maid.And what is up wit her daughter she gonna be the spitt'in image of her mother if she's not careful.

okay I don't know hee-joo to me she seems like a spoiled brat I didn't like her the first time I saw my sweetheart,my darling I think she looks like a horse.At times I like her exlest she speaks up for what she believes in and doesn't let people push her around i will give her that.But come on sweetheart if the dude don't love you you got'da move on oviously he's not the right one for you get over it and MOVE ON!!.But my opion could change seeing this show the second time around,I don't know

Hee-joo is the actress who inspired one of our nicknames here on the forum...Chipmunk Girl.
She was sooooo good at being the obsessed, clueless, self-absorbed "other woman" that now we call all the clueless, obsessed "other women/men" either Chipmunk girl or Chipmunk Guy...

Actually I never saw the first half of this drama the first time around and already EMIL and CG are so driving me nuts that I may stop watching it! I can't believe you guys made it through the whole thing!

You know who I REALLY couldn't stand? Ki-joon's sister. I just wanted to put her in a headlock until she learned some manners!

I like her (Jin-ah) actually! Not like I like her character but more I like her being there because she is the only one that talks back to EMIL and also the only person capable of annoying EMIL the way EMIL annoys everyone else! It's a shame she didn't stick around!

Ki-joon's mother is driving me crazy. All she does is scream. Seriously, watching her is like nails on a chalkboard!!!! The woman needs to chill a little. This drama is sad and depressing enough without her screaming like that. This is my first time watching it, and if I stop watching, it will be because I can't take one more episode of her screaming.
As for Hee-joo, she is a pathetic loser who needs to get a life. Maybe her and Ki-joon's mom should go together for group therapy and anger management.

Yes, she is one nasty woman! Isn't she a widow? No wonder her poor husband is dead. Living with all that stress would kill anybody. It stresses me out just watching and listening to her and that silly little Hee-joo. All Hee-joo does is cry , because she isn't getting what she wants. She is a spoiled brat. I don't know if I will be able to last through the whole thing. I'm gonna try, but if it gets to be too much, than I just might tune in once or twice a week. O, who am I kidding, I'm hooked now, and the suspence will be killing me! We'll see!

I watched MSMD the first time around and enjoyed it. I wondered about the type of costume the Aunt wears. Don't you think it is very different from the other costumes we have seen? Full, petticoated skirts...? Regional?

true she does dress rather old fashion she must be a old fashion gal,but exlest she reapects her nephews decsions and is the only one who sticks up Ki-joon.

I know, I felt so bad for In-kyung today. She is such a sweet, happy and well balanced girl, and for her to have heard about her birth that way was just awful. And I can't believe she went over to talk to talk to Ki-joon's mother about it. I hope her family finds out soon that she knows, so they could start to give her all of the love and attention that she needs to get through this right now. Poor thing .
Looks like In-chul is getting a little jealous wouldn't you say? Don't anyone tell me if you already know, but I'll bet he ends up with her (the girl who followed him home, I can't remember her name yet.) Next to In-young, I think he is my favorite so far. He seems like a really cool and fun guy.

Yeah it was horriable how In-kyung found out about her mother so horriable and I was so upset I had to write anther post about her getting beat up like that by the aunt.

Yeah In-chul is so jealous only he doesn't know it yet.Don't you just love the drama I like this person but I don't know yet.This was also seen in the bizarre bunch when Jongnam was with orbang and Suk-kyun was like no none of that. And he took Johngnam's ring that orbang gave her while she was sleeping. Wait by then he already knew by then he liked her bad example.A more current example is when Yunjeong divorced her husband and he wanted to see her one more time and she was so drunk that she called Ugyeong and the ex husband came back and ugyeong socued the mess out of that dude,classic got'da love it when someone gets socued who deserved it.(Which reminds of the scene seoul 1945 when Dong-woo socued park chang-Ju's coussin the only fault with that was that Dong=woo didn't hit him hard enough 1.he barley hit the gorund 2.he wasn't bleeding. )

I did feel really bad for Mr. Herb Lime, because he was such a nice guy, and cute too. I was always hoping there would be someone for him to hook up with, but it never happened..

I must have been out of the room when they showed the girl he liked,darn how could I miss it. Yeah once Suky took Jongnam away that did end that problem.They should had the lime guy find someone else that would have been nice,I guess the script righter didn't feel like because he served his purpose for that part of the drama.

Chipmunk girl is defentily full of herself I totaly agree.I rember her telling Ki-joon that she always gets what she wants she wants when he was trying to break up with her.Sorry ta disapoint you sweetheart but that don't always work with people,you must be listening to much of that I'm gonna make u love me,because you can't always make someone love you. But suky and Ki-joon do have alot in common they both never disapointed their mom's until they feel in love with girls their mom didn't really like. In the end they got their way and married the girls their mom's disaproved of. And they both had kids but of cource not before a long and shaky road of deniel,getting drunk and do without thinking action and of cource the I can't let you go thing.But mostly get drunk very common in dramas. The only difference is suky actually had more balls then Ki-joon to say this is the woman I love and I resfuse to let you hurt her her. Suky and Yuhu were the only ones that moved out and was like look this is the woman I love believe it and I'm going to marry her ain't no way,ain't no how your gonna stop me trust.And Suky and Yuhu were both rich mommas noys. Sun-mi is In-youngs friend that In-chul has been palling around with and flirting with since he returned from the army.

Mi-jung is the one that followed him back to Seoul and they are both now working at the supermarket.

I can't believe I messed up today taping MSMD (it's a long story why.) Anyway, can anyone tell me how In-kyung made out, and did she really end up actually talking to Ki-joon's miserable mother about her birth? Thanks in advance!

don't feel bad your not the only 1 I messed up taping yesterday's to hopefully today will be better I'll make sure of it. I know Ki-joon's mom Ok-jin had no mercy on In-kyung when she was telling her about her birth mom.

Okjin doesn't have any mercy on ANYone! That's her strong suit -

Okjin did talk to Inkyung about her birth, january (although she was noticeably uncomfortable, which I was very glad to see her suffer a little over her meanness! LOL), and Inkyung eventually headed for home - Inchul found her, and by then the family had discovered what was really wrong with Inkyung (I think Inkyung talked to Inyoung) and were all terribly worried and upset. Inchul took her out for ice cream and sat on the swings with her; Inkyung kept saying "your mom" and "my mom" and finally Inchul screamed that his mom WAS her mom - that it was their mom who had loved her and taken care of her, and that all those years Inkyung never ever knew for a minute that she was different from anyone else in the family. He brought her back home on piggyback, singing to her to make her feel better. When they got home, Inkyung fell into Aunt's arms, crying, and Aunt said she was sorry. Later Inkyung talked to her dad and he asked for her forgiveness. Inkyung asked if he knew anything about her birth mom or had ever seen her and he said no; he had thought it would hurt her to know so he never found out about her. Inkyung said that she didn't need to know, anyway.

MEANWHILE . . . back at the Ok-Jin Ranch . . . Kijoon found out from Inyoung what his mother had done and he went home and yelled at his mother (WHAT? the man really DOES have a backbone? He'll lose it later, though . . . sigh . . . ). He asked her why she didn't think about what she had said and Okjin started yelling, saying, "I hate thinking!! I don't want to have to think!! Thinking gives me a headache!!" and ran out of the room (surely one of my VERY favorite moments in this drama! WOW thanks for the recap of yesterday's espiode Victoria. My recorder worked today so I am ready to give a full report on the drum roll please for the main topic of the day.... Hee-joo of cource who else.Hee-joo and the people efected by her mainly In-young and Ki-joon.Oh and not let's not forget the queen of all evils the mother of all outspokenesss Kim Ok-jin Ki-joon's mom.

I can't believe Hee-joo how can she be so stuck up like that."please understand why I didn't say congralations."The when In-young said"It's okay I wouldn't have believed you even if you said congrulations."Where does Hee-joo get off saying "Wow I guess your not afaid of anything now that you have Ki-joon."

First let me say In-young not afaid she just very proper and dignifed a good example of her not being afaid is when Hee-joo first found out about In-young and she asked you to meet her.This is when she splashed a cup of water in Hee-joo's face and In-young was like "I have a glass of water to ,I could do the same thing."She made hee-joo look like a fool way to go In-young!! get 'em girl.

Ok-jin really playing the part of the miserable mother-in-law and Hee-joo's of cource loving it because then she has an exuse to come over. Which makes Ok-jin happy because like she said Hee-joo will always be her daughter but it makes me sick.
