I've been watching this show since the second season or so, addictively. I think this present season is a lot more fun, though.

I have been watching this show where it started on JAG. I absolutely love this show! I was sad to hear about the actor that was playing Abby's recent boyfriend. He died sometime last week but it did not mention how. Ducky is my favorite character. I think that Tony and Ziva will become more than just co-workers. I missed the recent episode I needed to tape it. I heard that it was good. My favorite episode so far was when Abby had Gibbs pictures all over her lab space after he retired to Mexico. It was so Abby and that farting hippo too!

That's really tragic! I hadn't heard. Maybe it was related to his condition. People with dwarfism tend to die young.

You were probably as shocked as I was when they killed off Kate. But I think that Ziva adds a lot more spice to the show, and they can do so much fun stuff in the scripts with her character. It seems, though, that they were pulling Tony away from Ziva with the lady doctor romance. To be truthful, I don't think Tony could handle Ziva in the long run. Not unless he's got hidden reservoirs of.......something, I don't know. She just kind of leaves him in her dust.

You've got to see this last week's episode. The opening is a roar on the floor. It starts in this class on sexual harassment. I'll leave it at that, but go to the NCIS website; you can view the episode there courtesy of innertube.

I like Ducky a lot too. He's much more interesting than when he was Ilya Kuryakin.....Love the farting hippo! I want one.

Do you stick around for "The Unit"? I was thinking maybe there should be a thread for that one, too.

Really, I did not know that about dwarfism such a shame Sad

That's the beauty of this show with killing off Kate! My husband and myself did not see that coming at all and when it happened I was so shocked I started crying because I liked her character so much. Ziva as the replacement? Hmmmm..... Well to be honest at first I was with the no one can replace Kate mind and who is this character?!?! Also, with Ziva what blew me away was when you realize that she's Ari's (name?) sister and she kills him! I do not like the idea of Tony and Ziva romance but lately I have heard rumors so with this show anything's possible. I hope not though because you are right Tony could not handle Ziva. Although, it would be funny as he** to watch! Laugh Out Loud

I have a Comcast DVR so last weeks episode is recorded and if really necessary it is also on Comcast On Demand for a few days too. But thanks for not spoiling it and giving me enough to want to watch it right now! hug

I want a farting hippo too! But Google has not been my friend I tried every way that I could think of to search for it. Maybe you will have better luck. Let me know if you find it.

I do not watch the Unit but others may. So why not start another thread I would. I watch both Law & Orders that are on afterwards.

Seems like a long time since they aired a new episode.

Mark Harmon is a pretty sexy old guy. but then it could just be me, 'cause I remember when he was a sexy young guy after quarterbacking for UCLA. f1q9

A few more things are revealed, or not, about The Director. So far most of what we know is that She and Gibbs were once partners. He screwed his partner, then she screwed over her partner.......there are still issues. She and Tony seem a bit closer than I expected. Have you ever seen her so angry? I wonder if we'll ever find out what that arms dealer did to her.

Guys, never insult a pretty woman and get in her way on the streets of Georgetown. you never know if she might have been trained by Mossad.

I got a big kick out of the francophone villain "La Grenouille". A bit of not-so-subtle humor for those of us who prefer to eat freedom fries. Ribbit.

Ducky really stepped up to the plate. I wonder if this little role within a role was a tribute to Ilya Kuryakin? I remember that old thing was mentioned once in a long-ago episode.

I've always thought McGee was cute in a geeky sort of way. I would have dated him in college.

Well, lets see there have been new episodes lately.....

Gibbs is with that army colonel they recently had a repeat character who's a terrorist. There was another new episode this past Tuesday and if you have Comcast On Demand then you can go there and the episode is there for free to watch with limited commercials. Oh and he's move the boat out of the basement. I think I missed an episode that showed that happening because the colonel asked him how he moved it and he did not answer her. He moved it because there's another part that he's working on and he needed the room.

That's hilarious what you said about girls like Ziva Laugh Out Loud

As far as Tony and director, nope not happening. He's currently with a nurse and it's so secret that only Gibbs knows that he's actually dating her which drives Ziva crazy because she thinks that he's sick because every time he goes to meet with the nurse he tells Ziva that he has a medical test going on.

Don't remember the connection about Ducky but like you know he's my very favorite character.

Dating McGee? Well my hubby is very close to being him he's so geeky Bouncing Grin .

Okay so you probably figured by my last post that I had not even watched last Tuesday's episode. I completely misread your''s sorry Laugh Out Loud

So no I have never seen the director so angry and it will be interesting to see how this all plays out in future episodes, with her history with Gibbs and the arms dealer.

Now is Tony with a doctor or a nurse? Because when he was on the phone with her he said that he needed a doctor? It was funny when Tony and Ziva were looking at the computer and Ziva saw the picture and Tony trying to pull the computer away from her.

Yes ducky did step up to the plate in this episode I hope that his character gets that kind of opportunity again. Abby is too cute with all of that hugging!

S'okay, I'm just glad to have somebody to discuss this great show with.

About The Director and Tony "being closer than I expected". No, there's no romance, the lady he's so gone on is a doctor (I sure hope nothing horrible happens to her!) but there was a scene between them in her office where it seemed they were both in on something (I believe it was about the arms dealer), then Gibbs came in and it was obvious that he was NOT in on it. Probably more to follow.

Long ago, David McCallum, (Ducky) played a character in a TV show called "The Man from U.N.C.L.E.", a tongue-in-cheek cold-war spy comedy-drama. His character was named Ilya Kuryakin and was Russian, which now that I think of it, was pretty weird.

He was just about the hottest young actor on the small screen at the time, and you would have to be really old to remember it.

Now that I know what you are talking about, yes I think that there more to the story between the director and Tony and his undercover work than is being let on. Yes, I remembered that guy from the airport too when Tony was doing undercover work but there's still more to come. That's one thing that I love about this show. It keeps you on the edge of your seat and wanting more.

WOW! Ducky c0g2 ! I have heard of the show but never watched it and my hubby saw this post and said that he did watch the show but did not remember that it was him. He's still good looking no matter how much time has past.

Episode: "Friends and Lovers"

I came in on this one in the last section last night, so watched it on the web today.

So well written! But that's not unusual. The knife-throwing scene was a hoot! So was the nearly-busted tryst in autopsy and famous McGee and his entourage at the club. He still looks like such a virgin.

Great to hear Gibbs' reference to Mad Magazine! I grew up on it. Makes me giggle to think of him reading it.

How could Tony have doubted his love?

A sad and shocking ending. I felt tears welling up in my eyes.

Again on the subject of Ducky and Ilya Kuryakin..... Back then he was considered so hot that nobody really took him seriously as an actor. I'm so glad that he's stuck with it and now he can be an actor and appreciated for it.
