That's really tragic! I hadn't heard. Maybe it was related to his condition. People with dwarfism tend to die young.
You were probably as shocked as I was when they killed off Kate. But I think that Ziva adds a lot more spice to the show, and they can do so much fun stuff in the scripts with her character. It seems, though, that they were pulling Tony away from Ziva with the lady doctor romance. To be truthful, I don't think Tony could handle Ziva in the long run. Not unless he's got hidden reservoirs of.......something, I don't know. She just kind of leaves him in her dust.
You've got to see this last week's episode. The opening is a roar on the floor. It starts in this class on sexual harassment. I'll leave it at that, but go to the NCIS website; you can view the episode there courtesy of innertube.
I like Ducky a lot too. He's much more interesting than when he was Ilya Kuryakin.....Love the farting hippo! I want one.
Do you stick around for "The Unit"? I was thinking maybe there should be a thread for that one, too. |
Really, I did not know that about dwarfism such a shame
That's the beauty of this show with killing off Kate! My husband and myself did not see that coming at all and when it happened I was so shocked I started crying because I liked her character so much. Ziva as the replacement? Hmmmm..... Well to be honest at first I was with the no one can replace Kate mind and who is this character?!?! Also, with Ziva what blew me away was when you realize that she's Ari's (name?) sister and she kills him! I do not like the idea of Tony and Ziva romance but lately I have heard rumors so with this show anything's possible. I hope not though because you are right Tony could not handle Ziva. Although, it would be funny as he** to watch!
I have a Comcast DVR so last weeks episode is recorded and if really necessary it is also on Comcast On Demand for a few days too. But thanks for not spoiling it and giving me enough to want to watch it right now!
I want a farting hippo too! But Google has not been my friend I tried every way that I could think of to search for it. Maybe you will have better luck. Let me know if you find it.
I do not watch the Unit but others may. So why not start another thread I would. I watch both Law & Orders that are on afterwards. _________________ "The Ferengi Rules of Acquisition. " These rules ordain conduct such as "Never place family before business."

Now is Tony with a doctor or a nurse? |
S'okay, I'm just glad to have somebody to discuss this great show with.
About The Director and Tony "being closer than I expected". No, there's no romance, the lady he's so gone on is a doctor (I sure hope nothing horrible happens to her!) but there was a scene between them in her office where it seemed they were both in on something (I believe it was about the arms dealer), then Gibbs came in and it was obvious that he was NOT in on it. Probably more to follow.
Long ago, David McCallum, (Ducky) played a character in a TV show called "The Man from U.N.C.L.E.", a tongue-in-cheek cold-war spy comedy-drama. His character was named Ilya Kuryakin and was Russian, which now that I think of it, was pretty weird.
He was just about the hottest young actor on the small screen at the time, and you would have to be really old to remember it. _________________ |

Now that I know what you are talking about, yes I think that there more to the story between the director and Tony and his undercover work than is being let on. Yes, I remembered that guy from the airport too when Tony was doing undercover work but there's still more to come. That's one thing that I love about this show. It keeps you on the edge of your seat and wanting more.
WOW! Ducky ! I have heard of the show but never watched it and my hubby saw this post and said that he did watch the show but did not remember that it was him. He's still good looking no matter how much time has past. _________________ "The Ferengi Rules of Acquisition. " These rules ordain conduct such as "Never place family before business."
