SJ and Brat leave the courthouse after getting a divorce. Neither one looks happy. SJ suggests not telling their parents yet because things are complicated. Sj tells her to be happy and apologizes. As he walks away, Brat asks him if he ever loved her. SJ turns, stares at her, says good bye and walks away.

SJ is driving, about ready to bust into tears. He pulls over and beats the steering wheel.

Brat gets into her car, crying. She swears that she will forget SJ.

The 3 coworkers leave the office for the day. BH looks over at DP; she appears depressed. DP tells BH that she is wondering whether to tell her parents about SJ or not. BH reminds her that SJ asked her not to tell and he says it will be better coming from SJ. DP agrees with BH and they prepare to leave. BH's cell phone rings. It is Brat. She has been drinking so BH tells her he will be right there. Dp decides to go home while BH goes to see Brat.

BH goes to the tent bar where brat is. He is surprised at the amount of alcohol she has already drunk. Brat tells him she got a divorce. Bh doesn't believe her and asks why they got a divorce. Brat tells him she called him to carry her home, not to nag her. BH is worried about MB and Granny. Brat tells him she didn't want a divorce but SJ never loved her. He only married her for money and for the company.

Later, BH is carrying Brat home. Brat asks if MB and Granny will be upset. She tells Bh not to tell them. BH tells her to be careful as well. Brat tells Bh she envies him because he and DP are so happy even though they have less material things.

BH arrives home with Brat on his back. DJ meets them at the door. BH asks her to make Brat some honey water while he takes Brat upstairs. BS sees them headed up the steps and gets Granny.

In Brat's room, BH gets her into bed. DJ comes in and BH tells her he thinks Brat had a bad day. Brat starts crying, saying she should have listened to granny when she tried to stop Brat from marrying SJ. She wonders how she can tell Granny she got a divorce. DJ is shocked that Brat got a divorce. Granny walks in to hear BH confirm that Brat got a divorce. Granny almost collapses. BS and DJ help her out of the room.

DP comes out of her room to see DJ, Granny & BS standing in the hallway. BH leaves Brat's room. Granny tells them not to tell MB about the divorce yet because he is not fully recovered. After BS, Granny & DJ go downstairs, DP questions BH. He tells her he isn't sure about why Brat & SJ got a divorce. All he knows is that SJ asked for it. DP tries to call SJ but just gets his voice mail. Bh advises her to wait until SJ says something first. DP worries that JS and AD will faint.

Grany is laying down. BS is sitting next to her. DJ comes in with some water and a sedative. Granny sits up and starts wailing about Brat getting a divorce. Granny asks for BH - she wants to know what Brat told him. BH comes in to check on Granny. Granny has DJ and BS leave. Granny asks BH if they really got a divorce. BH confirms that Brat went to family court earlier that day. Granny worries what they will do. Bh tells Granny to calm down for Brat's sake. Granny tells him that Brat must be really lonely to call BH. Bh hugs Granny and tells her everything will be OK. Granny hugs BH back, asking what they will do.

AD is called into a meeting and told that SJ may be involved in a bribery case.

SJ is in his room, packing a bag. He goes over to the bureau and sees the promissary note he and Brat signed. He has the good grace to look sorry. JS comes into the room. She tells him that AD is angry and wants to see him.

SJ and JS come into the living room where an obviously upset AD is waiting for them. AD asks SJ if he met the official the detective had been talking about. SJ admits to having a drink with him. AD asks if SJ got the land use changed by bribing an official. SJ admits to the bribery. AD freaks and JS stops him from hitting SJ. SJ defends his actions by saying that AD wouldn't help him so he had no choice. Sj tells AD he will take responsibility so it doesn't damage AD's reputation. SJ walks off.

Sj sits in an upscale bar and drinks. Meanwhile, AD sits in his kitchen drinking and writing his resignation letter.

The next am, MB is in his wheelchair by the door. He sees off BH and DP. Granny comes out of her room and sees DJ with a glass of juice. Granny asks if it is for Brat. When MB asks about Brat, DJ tells him that she came when he was sleeping. Granny says that she told Brat to stay for a few days. Granny takes the glass from DJ and heads upstairs. MB asks DJ if Brat and SJ are fighting. DJ denies it.

JY models the outfit UJ's mother got for her. She is nervous about meeting UJ's father. Granny, Maie, GJ and Vet Dad try to calm her down. Maie tells Gj that she sounds like JY's mother. GJ tells Maie she just likes JY. UJ arrives. The group moves into the courtyard. UJ tells them that his parents approved of him going to the States. Uncle and SY come out of their room. Eulsu arrives and everyone wishes the couple a nice trip.

MB joins BS in the living room for tea. BS mentions that Granny is lying down. MB is concerned that she is upset about something. BS says Granny is upset that MB is not completely recovered yet. MB laughs and says he is recovering quickly and she shouldn't worry. Granny comes out of her room looking very tired, with a white head band. MB asks if she is worried about SJ. Granny says there is no use talking about him. Brat comes downstairs. MB assumes she is headed home and tells her that her in-laws must be worried about her. Brat tells him she has no reason to go there anymore. Granny tries to stop Brat from speaking but Brat tells him she is going to a travel agency to get tickets to Paris. Granny makes faces at Brat but Brat says that MB needs to know. Brat then tells MB that she and SJ got a divorce and she is going to Paris to study some more.

Later, DJ takes MB into their room. MB assures her he is OK. MB blames himself for the divorce.

Brat gets her tickets to Paris. She looks determined.

AD leaves work. Some of her coworkers are there. He shakes hands and thanks them for everything.

SJ is out in the country, fishing by some lake. A little later he goes into a local restaurant and gets some soju. There is a TV on in the background. The news comes on. There is a report that AD resigned to take responsibility for his subordinate taking a bribe.

DP and JS are talking in JS' bedroom. JS tells DP that SJ bribed someone to get the land use changed. JS is worried that SJ will go to prison because of the bribe. DP asks if SJ said anything else. When JS realizes DP knows something, she insists on knowing what it is. DP tells SJ that SJ was fired. JS starts freaking out, saying they can't do that. JS picks up the phone to call Granny or MB. She is screaming to DP that they can't do this to SJ. AD walks in. JS tells him what happened. AD looks upset and walks out again. JS curls up on her bed, crying.

Later that evening, AD is sitting in the living room when SJ comes in. Sj yells at AD asking him why he quit when he (SJ) was the one who did wrong. AD calmly tells SJ that a parent should take responsibility for his child's faults. SJ gets on his knees, crying and asks why AD should have to quit. JS comes out of her room with DP. JS asks AD if he really quit. JS starts crying and falls into DP's arms. DP takes her back into the bedroom.

The next am, SJ goes to the police station and stands outside.

It was really sad watching AD's life unravel.
he spent his whole career not even accepting a orange and because of something his son does he had to give it all up.

HOWEVER,
I got a perverse thrill out of watching JS's suffer, and they didn't even tell her about the divorce yet.
Why couldn't you tell her!
that would have probably been the last straw and she would have just imploded.

Oh I see how it is, everything goes pear shaped and suddenly BH is the only one you can count on.

but it was sweet watching him be a good brother/grandson despite how these 2 people have treated him.

BH has a lot of class, he has a good soul that's for sure. He doesn't seem to hold any grudges or resentments, he's such a good person.

I felt so bad for AD. Like MinJoo said, he led his whole life never doing the wrong thing and then because of this unbelievable excuse for a son - everything is ruined for him. So sad. I think that's why SJ is turning himself into the police, he feels so guilty.

JS - wow, that was just great watching her unravel. Can't wait until she hears about the divorce. JS schemed and manipulated to get things her way and now everything is crumbling around her...it's all come back to bite her!

Did anyone notice how close Geumja was sitting next to Vet Dad! She was almost in his lap! Vet Dad can't show affection in the street outside her store, but he can at home. I remember when she first sat on the other side of the table across from the aunts! I'll see by Thursday if she has moved into his room
