SJ walks up to the Police Station.

JS comes into SJ's room looking for him and sees a note he left for his parents, it says he is going to turn himself in. She screams and runs out to show to Dad and Danpung comes out. She tells them SJ went to turn himself in.

Baekho arrives at the Police station and sees his in-laws. DP comes out from visiting SJ and the parents go in. BH says he had better stay outside he doesn't think SJ would like being seen like that. The cops bring SJ in behind bars. They ask how he is and he says don't worry. JS won't even face SJ and they tell her to turn around. She is trying not to cry and asks him if he ate. Then she says let's just go and leaves the room so Dad leaves and DP asks if she should tell Sua, SJ says why, what for? She asks if this is why he wanted a divorce. DP says it isn't right. She tells him to take care.

Outsde, JS is hysterical and says, tell me why he is in there. Then she says its all Dads fault for not helping SJ. JS is crying a lot, then she says we should call Sua and tell her. DP and BH look uncomfortable, DP says Sua won't come. JS asks why, DP tells them that Sua and SJ got a divorce. JS can't believe it and she slips to the floor.

Dongji is on the phone hearing about what happened to SJ. She tells everyone in the living room who heard- Dad, Gmom and Aunt. She says he turned himself in for embezzling funds and using them to bribe and official. Aunt says the in-laws must be so shocked. Then she says, why would the Dad have resigned? Mansu says he probably felt responsible. Sua walks in and asks what happened, they tell her that SJ is at the police station. She is shocked.

BH, DP and her dad are putting JS into her bed while she is crying. Dad says don't cry, he isn't dead. She says he'll be in prison and Dad yells that he is paying for what he did wrong. JS freaks out, Dad leaves the room and BH goes to talk to him while DP stays. BH hears Dad in SJ's room crying. DP tells her mom she has to be calm to help SJ get through this. She says, I know how you feel but don't be mean to Dad, he is hurting too, everyone is suffering, don't blame him. JS says she hates Sua and the in-laws, all that SJ did was work hard for the company. She says how could Sua divorce him. DP says SJ asked for the divorce. JS is surprised and says, why?

SJ is sitting in a dark prison cell.

Jiyeong's dad and aunts are looking at the paper saying how could this happen to SJ. Miae says he deserves it. Geumja says he has nothing to do with us let's forget about it. JY and Ujin came back. JY was a hit with Ujin's father apparently. Ujin says he got a call and he has to go to the states sooner than expected. Dad says don't worry about us and go together. Dalhyeon, Sonya, and Chan come back from playing soccer and greet everyone. Outside, Ujin asks JY if she is worried about leaving her father, she says yeah and Ujin says we'll repay them by being happy so let's try hard. (She looks like Dorothy from Wizard of Oz in her outfit...) Ujin leaves and Miae comes out and says, oh I shouldn't tell you... and then says SJ is in prison.

JS visits SJ in prison, he says don't come here, he's fine. She asks if he really asked Sua for a divorce. She wants to know why he would do that. SJ says he's sorry. He gave Sua a hard time and she should be happy. JS says Sua loves him and it's cruel to reject her. He says it's over. JS just cries and sighs.

Sua is pacing in her room, she wants to not think about it but she is worried about him. JS calls her.

JS and Sua meet at a cafe, JS asks, what happened? JS says life and relationships are all in vain. She asks if Sua can stay by SJ's side through all this. Sua says, didn't he tell her? SJ doesn't love her he doesn't want her. JS says he did it on purpose to let her go. Sua says it's no use anymore and she is going to Paris for a while. JS asks if it's true, won't they be able to see each other anymore?

Sua is driving home and pulls over looking upset and perplexed. She pulls up to the police station, but doesn't get out of the car. Then she looks at her plane ticket and pulls away.

Dongji comes over JS's house. DJ asks if she is OK. JS says she doesn't know, DJ asks after Dad who went hiking. JS says, what will I do about my husband and SJ? DJ says everything will be OK in time. JS says it's her own fault and she is being punished for being too greedy (gee, you think?) DJ says don't think like that.

DP is at the office and GH asks if the company should get SJ a lawyer, the new girl says they should forgive him. BH says let's not talk about this anymore, DP looks sad. The others leave, BH asks DP if she is OK, she says let's go. BH hugs her and says I know you're having a hard time and to lean on him. She cries, what will Mom and SJ do...

Dad (Gitae) returns and says to JS in their room that it was beautiful outside. He tells her to get up. They go out to eat and Dad says that it actually isn't all bad. He says his career had to end sometime and its not bad. It's sad that SJ is in prison but there's nothing to be ashamed of so they can get through this. He says he was really proud of SJ. She says, how can you say that? he is in prison. He says everyone makes mistakes and does wrong things out of greed but not everyone admits their mistakes. SJ was wrong and had the courage to admit his mistakes. He'll get up on his feet again.

Sua is tossing in bed, she gets up to drink in the dining room, BH comes in and says I know you're upset but you're drinking too much these days. He says you have to eat if you drink and he makes her some ramen. She offers him some and he says, you're being nice to me these days, why don't you call me oppa too... Gmom is in the hallway watching them get along. She comes in and BH offers her some. She says, no thanks, just don't eat to much before going to bed. BH asks Sua if she is really going to Paris, Sua says are you happy about that? BH says, no, it's sad because he didn't get to be a brother to her. They hear a noise and rush to find Gmom who fell in the bathroom. BH picks her up and carries her to her room. Gmom says shes OK, BH checks her leg to see where it is hurt and then rushes to get a first aid kit. Aunt says gee he carries you all the way in here! Gmom says what, I said I'm OK. Aunt says, see? it's nice to have a grandson like that. Gmom says, he is no grandson and tells Sua to go to bed too. BH comes back with ice and says be careful cause it could be a serious injury and its a good thing she isn't hurt badly. BH and Sua leave and Aunt says he looks too much like Mansu and they should get a DNA exam. Gmom says, DNA exam?...

Anyone else enjoy little orphan Annie's (or maybe Dorothy from the Wizard of Oz?) outfit on Jiyeong?

I'd like granny to turn down the notion of DNA & just except Baekho & her son's good judgment in wife/son.

For a minute I thought they were going to have Sua be pregnant. Instead I guess she'll stay in Korea to protect granny from dangerous bathrooms!

Gito could become a mountainman & his wife should be diagnosed with a polyp as a result of her shrieking & be told she has to not talk for a few years.

Sulking aunt needs to find a boyfriend and go get a life (instead they'll probably make her a star of a KD).

This is what I hate about K-Dramas, not that I'm an authority but the few I've watched, they always try to crowd everything into the last few episodes. Where on earth could you ever get a divorce in one day, turn yourself in and you're now doing your time ... where was the trial, jury, etc? It's like they are just trying to wrap everything up so they go and end everything quick, not realistic. And yes, what about Maie's career, is she all of a sudden going to be offered the role of a lifetime? Or are they just going to send the message of be happy in your own skin and what you have presently? Like I had mentioned in an earlier post, I think they'll have to FF ahead five years or so because there is too much left unresolved for only two more episodes...*sigh*..

this is only the fifth k-drama i've seen so far but this ending is the most dissappointing by far. in fact,it's not even close. i thought my sweetheart,my darling ended badly but this one takes the cake. the good characters are frustrating,the disgusting chracters are frustrating,it never ends. yesterday u had brat once again playing the innocent victim role and it's just so sickening and ridiculous. then today with js. i honestly don't think u can get more vile than these two. js actually had the nerve to blame ad? is she that brainless? her master plan fell apart all around her and the one thing she says is,"this MIGHT be my fault". might be your fault? worthless piece of crap!!!! what fantasy world does she live in where crimes go completely unpunished? then of course dj goes and comforts her when we all know how great of a friend js has been to her right? i just give up. words just can't describe the frustration.

when old bag fell in the bathroom i was so excited for a split second and thought to myself,"FINALLY,something bad happening to one of the three wretches" but then of course she was fine and the dissappointment continued. just ridiculous.

You took the words right off of my fingers. This is THE worst ending ever. There better be a mass uprising of the "good people" and they better bomb the house with Granny, Sua, SJ, and JS in it. That is the only way this will end well.

I'm really disappointed in this drama.

I was wondering about the quickie divorce too. It has happened in several KD's . They seem to be able to have the papers drawn up and signed in one day. Is there no property settlement, custody issues, alimony, etc. Can a divorce be contested? Is it really so easy to get a divorce in Korea?
