SJ is consoling Sua while realizing that no one knows about him being fired. Granny wants to see MB but BH she needs rest. She yells at BH that she can’t rest until she sees MB and nearly collapses herself. Granny tells SJ that he has to take MB’s place at work. SJ leaves. Granny calls Mr. Kim to let him know that SJ is in charge.

SJ arrives at Bonjour and has a smirk on his face as looks at the building. HY sees SJ walk into the building and thinks he’s handsome and asks who it is. Misuk & GH set her straight. BH wonders who will run Bonjour if MB isn’t able.

SJ walks into MB’s office and makes himself comfy at MB’s desk. BI enters. They talk about how to handle things. BI asks about MB. SJ says it’s up to the heavens.

BH requested a visit with MB for the family. JS shows up at the hospital to lend her support. They all file in to see him. MB is unconscious and hooked up to many machines. Granny nearly collapses again. They ask the Dr. when MB could regain consciousness. The Dr. tells them it could be a week or a month.

DP, Sua & SJ take Granny home. Sua & DP get her to lie down. DP leaves to make her some porridge. Granny holds Sua and they fall asleep. JS stays to help prepare food and DP tells her that she’ll do it. JS wonders where SJ is. DP tells JS that Granny told him to run the company.

Miae is leaving for the casting office. Auntie tells her to give it up. Miae says that she lost too much when she left Uncle & Chan. She has to make it up to herself. Chan & GJ come home as she’s leaving. Chan wants to do his homework in Sonya’s room. Miae is jealous. She overhears Chan & Sonya singing and laughing.

Gambler & Uncle are at the office. Uncle sees that the website is starting to be successful as they got some business. Uncle’s phone rings. It’ BH. He tells Uncle about MB. Uncle rushes to the hospital.

BH & DJ are talking. DJ wonders what will happen if MB doesn’t make it. She starts crying. She holds up her cell phone crying at the thought of missing his call. She starts to blame herself. Uncle shows up. He holds DJ & comforts her as she cries.

At the Bong house, JS, Sua & DP try to get Granny to eat. JS tells Sua to stay with Granny for a while to take care of her.

JS goes home. AD comes home and asks about MB. JS wonders what will happen if MB doesn’t wake. AD tells her to be careful not to say that. JS tells AD to exercise and lose his potbelly. She wants him to get a checkup.

DJ, BH & Uncle leave MB’s room. DJ nearly collapses. BH tells DJ that she must go home and get some rest. BH says he will stay. Uncle will take her. SJ shows up and asks to see MB. He’s alone in the hospital room with MB. He almost looks remorseful but gets a little smirk on his face again.

DJ checks on Granny before she leaves for the hospital. She leaves. Granny blames DJ saying that she’s been bad luck. The phone rings. It’s Mr. Jeong. They are calling a board of director’s meeting. She must be there. She calls SJ and tells him that they must go to the meeting together. SJ calls BI and asks him to find out the reason for the board meeting.

Granny arrives at Bonjour and SJ greets her. She is quite composed as she enters the meeting. The board members say MB’s situation will create a stir among the investors and that they need to declare a new president before too long. Granny is not happy and lets the board know. She says SJ is doing a good job. The board says that’s what you think and they want to take a vote. Granny & SJ go back to MB’s office. Granny tells SJ that he’s the only one she can trust. She’ll convince the members. She tells him again that she trusts him. She tells him MB would have chosen him too.

SJ walks her out as she leaves. BH sees them and runs to say hello. BH says he is on his way to the hospital. Granny says why – he’ll only be in the way. She leaves. BH tells SJ that Mr. Kim said he was the last one to see MB. SJ tells BH that it is none of his business. SJ walks away. Ujin sees BH. They talk for a few minutes.

At the Vet Clinic, Eulsu is saying that its spring and that they should get in the mood. Eulsu wants to get flowers for the clinic. UJ walks in and asks VetDad about his high blood pressure. UJ tells them about MB.

DJ is at MB’s side. She talks to him about waking up and the things they can do together. She wants to know if he can hear her. But there’s no response. BH walks in. He talks her into going home to get rest.

Granny arrives home. The phone rings. It’s Ms. Kim (a friend) calling to ask about MB. Ms. Kim asks about DJ & BH. Granny asks why. Ms. Kim tells Granny that there might be a dispute over assets if anything should go wrong. Granny yells at Ms. Kim that MB is not dead yet and hangs up. DJ comes home. Granny asks DJ if she left MB alone. DJ explains that BH & DP are there and that she came home to cook for Granny.

Granny tries to lie down but can’t sleep. She pulls out the promissory letter that she made DJ write before she married MB. DJ comes in. Granny asks DJ if she remembers the note. Shock comes over DJ’s face.

Argh! They gave us what we wanted with the firing and then they took it all away that quickly!!

Wow! I JUST KNEW granny was going to get involved & appoint SJ to run things. I had a feeling when SJ went to Mansu's hospital bed that he was standing there hoping Mansu would die. If he doesn't, SJ is going down!

The best thing I'll see is when granny realizes she has bet on all the wrong horses & her DIL, Baekho & Dangpu ARE her family!

Summary done.

I use to want the happy Kdrama ending where Sua and SJ see the error of their ways turn over a new leaf and live somewhat happily ever after.

Now, I kinda want Sua to see SJ for what he really is and leave him.
Sua learns the error of her ways and SJ learns new meanings of pain.
I just can't watch her support him through stealing from her family's company, bribing government officials and nearly killing her dad.
and being whole heartedly abandoned is what he deserves.

I have a feeling the former will win though.

What more can we possibly say about Granny without sounding like a broken record - but give me a break - for her to say that this is all DJ's fault and that she never liked her....Granny is out of her mind. She is a bad read of people, that's for sure. I hope that when she does find out the error of her ways, that NO ONE will accept her but you just know that will not be the case. She is disgusting to pull out that promissory note at this time, truly a pathetic old woman. She is disgusting the way she talks to everyone, as though she were the only one in pain, I hate her so much.

I don't understand why the auditors and the Financial Manager are not reporting their findings to the BOD? Makes no sense at all.

I wish I could say Granny surprised me at this point but...I thought that when DJ walked in from the hospital and Granny if she left MB alone that DJ should have decked her. Yeah like she'd leave MB alone...no she came to make you dinner you twit! And then she had the b-lls to pull out that promissory note...OY!

If Granny told SJ one more time that she trusted him, I was going to puke. I CANNOT wait for this to all blow up in Granny's face once it comes out about SJ.

I thought about the same thing about the Auditors and the BOD. And don't you think that MB's assistant would have a clue about it too.

Be ready Granny and SJ just keep on showing their colors till the very end!!!!!!

Promissory note? OK, I started watching at around episode 30, so, what's the story of the promissory note please?

Granny was against DJ & MB getting married. Eventually she relented but only if DJ would sign a promissory note. Basically the note says that should something happen to MB, DJ will not ask for any money or property.

 

DJ should have gotten a similiar note signed by granny stating that if granny dropped dead on the floor, DJ would mop & dust around her for a period of at least a month & then dance on her grave forever!

my guess is never. i've been waiting for js,brat,and old bag to get what they deserve but it's obviously not gonna happen. the writers really screwed up imo and it's really dissapointing. at least one of these pieces of crap shoulda gotten screwed in some way but we get absolutely nothing. i don't care how much they turn around in the end there's no redeeming any one of them. all three should drop dead. speaking of dropping dead,why the hell was old bag having those stupid little fainting spells? just go all the way and die already!!!

finsroy - you're right...they should have to pay some sort of price. What kind of message does it send when you can act/behave this way and not have to pay any kind of retribution? It doesn't teach a good lesson...it reaches why be nice, etc.. because seemingly if you're a creep, in the end, you get away with it anyway. Very bad message here. They needed to be held responsible for their actions and awful deeds and they're not going to be. The message should have been if you do terrible things in life to others, at some point, it will come back to bite you. Maybe it will for SJ with the company and all...but I don't see anything happening to the other three witches - JS/Brat/Granny.
