DP comes home to find BH on his knees begging to JS. JS has thrown the flowers and food on the floor. JS is screaming at the two of them.

DJ urgently leaves the Bong house and doesn’t tell Granny where she was going. Granny is upset.

DP is begging BH to get up. JS is threatening to call the police. JS tells DP that she’s not her daughter. AD comes home. He tells BH to get up. BH & DP go to leave since JS told her that she’s not her daughter. JS starts hitting DP. DP yells back at her mom. DJ walks in and sees the gifts thrown on the floor. DJ grabs BH and leaves. DP storms off to her room. Once outside, DJ starts yelling at BH. She tells him that she feels pathetic having to see him like that. BH asks his mom to buy a drink.

In her room, DP is packing a suitcase. JS enters. DP tells her that they don’t need their approval. JS asks if she’s crazy. DP says she can’t live without of BH. AD enters. JS grabs DP’s purse and tells DP that she’s not leaving the house and to quit her job. JS says to DP to stay in her room until she goes to the States says JS. DP threatens to go on a hunger strike. AD pulls JS out of the room and into the living room. AD wants to give into DP saying no parent can win their child.

BH & DJ are having a drink. She’s pleading with him to break up with DP. BH tells his mom that he was going to win their approval today no matter what. BH realizes that all he has is his love for DP and he can’t show anyone his love. BH starts crying and says he’s too lacking. DJ tells him that he’s not lacking. They are both crying. DJ finally approves and tells BH to marry her no matter what. BH starts to cry more. DJ then tells him to be a man and stop crying.

MB and Granny are wondering about DJ. Granny is ticked. MB tries to smooth things by telling her that he enjoyed the meal that she cooked for him. DJ & BH walk in. They apologize to Granny. Granny realizes that they had a drink together. A drunken DJ then announces to MB & Granny that she approved of the marriage. Granny thinks DJ is crazy since they are in-laws. DJ says she’ll deal with that problem.

SJ is at work and calls Sua but it goes right into voice mail. Sua is at a club and having a good time dancing with a male friend. SJ arrives at home just as Sua and her male friend arrive home. The friend has his arm around Sua to hold her up. The friend leaves. SJ grabs Sua’s arm. Sua tells him there’s no way he can be jealous. She tells him that he sees the wretch and she sees a boyfriend. An eye for an eye she says. SJ walks inside.

JS has a tray for DP but her pride won’t allow her to bring it to DP. She asks AD to take the try to DP. SJ & Sua walk in. JS notices that Sua is drunk. SJ & Sua go to their room. AD tries to get DP to eat but she won’t give in. JS hears DP say that she’ll starve until DP approves. JS starts to scold her when SJ walks into DP’s room and asks what is going on. JS fills him in. SJ tells DP that she’s being childish. JS asks SJ how soon the transfer can take place. SJ says next week. DP sits up and says she’ll never go. DP’s phone rings and JS has it in her pocket. It’s BH calling. SJ restrains DP while JS screeches at BH. BH overhears DP’s family yelling at each other.

SJ goes to his room. He goes to touch Sua and she yells at him.

JS is asleep on the couch outside of the kid’s bedrooms in case DP tries to leave. SJ comes out to sleep there. JS tells SJ to stop fighting with Sua and to go sleep in his room. He sleeps on the floor in his room. Sua rolls over to see him there.

The next day, DP lies in bed. JS brings her water. DP tells her mom that she will die and that she doesn’t need water. JS tells her that starving won’t work. DP pulls the covers over her head. JS starts hitting DP. JS says that BH stole her daughter. DP tells her to stop taking their problem out on BH. JS says she doesn’t want to see DP and to go live in the States. DP says she’ll die before that happens. JS screeches and leaves the room. SJ comes out of his room. JS tells him have the transfer completed ASAP. SJ says he’ll have her go on vacation until the transfer takes place so she doesn’t have to go to work. Sua comes out of her room and asks what is going on. Sua complains she couldn’t get any sleep because of all the commotion.

At the Bong house, they are eating breakfast. Uncle announces that he is moving out effective today. MB asks why. Uncle explains that he is getting married. Granny says she is happy for Uncle. MB is surprised. DJ looks upset. BH is surprised. Later in their room, BH & Uncle discuss Uncle’s pending marriage. BH leaves for work and DJ comes in. She starts to scold him for not telling her. He apologizes and tells her that he’ll live a diligent life and pay her back.

Sonya is at work. Uncle walks in with his bag. He takes her hand and tells them they will do everything together from now on. He officially proposes with a ring. He promises his love for her won’t change. They embrace. Gambler walks in and surprises them. Uncle explains what happened.

The Team is wondering where DP is. BH tries to text when Mr. Shin walks in. Mr. Shin explains that SJ met with him and told him that DP is going to the States next week. Mr. Shin also tells them that she won’t be back. HY asks if her welcoming party will be cancelled. BH asks Misuk to call DP.

DP is crying loudly. She has locked the door and JS is screeching at her from the other side. DP’s phone rings – JS answers. Misuk explains herself and asks to speak to DP. JS lies and says DP is sick. JS figures that BH told Misuk to call. BH is worried.

SJ is on the phone talking about the new site for construction. He asks the person on the other end to change the land purpose soon so the residents will not be against the development. SJ hangs up. MB walks into SJ’s office and asks about the land.

At the Hwang house, they are preparing for JY’s birthday meal. JY is leaving to celebrate with UJ for her birthday. As she walks out of her yard, UJ is there with flowers. He puts his arm around her shoulder and she looks uncomfortable. They go to dinner at an expensive restaurant. He gives her a gift. It’s the pearl necklace. She likes it but realizes that it’s expensive. UJ puts the necklace on her. She looks burdened but says thank you.

JS is outside of DP’s door and is upset that she doesn’t hear DP making any noise. JS tells herself that she won’t give it. Sua comes out of her room. JS tells her that DP always did that when she wanted her way but JS tells Sua that she won’t give in this time. Sua tells JS about her friend who took sleeping pills when her parents were against her marriage. JS tells Sua to get the spare key for the room. JS is screeching again. They open the door and find DP passed out.

Oh this is just awful, I can't watch this...it's too hard. JS has gone totally off the deep end. She's insane. She is such low class. I never wish bad things to happen but I truly wish something would happen to her, I hate her that much. What she has done to her daughter is unforgivable. And AD, I have no respect for him at all...standing there and letting JS/SJ bully and torment DP to the point where it truly disturbing. I really hope a bad ending comes to both JS/SJ...like they get sent off to the salt mines or something. JS is beyond evil. Granny looks like Mother Teresa next to her. Even BRAT was more concerned about DP than JS. My heart is just breaking for DP, I feel so bad for her..she is being so strong in standing up to all of them. This is just terrible. I hope this part ends soon, I can't stand watching this. I made my husband watch one of the screeching parts of JS, he could not believe that a human voice could emit those sounds. I constantly have the mute button on. I'm wondering how it affects the real actress who plays JS (vocal cords?) Anyway, at least DJ finally gave in, she could just not see her son suffer like that, she obviously loves BH more than JS loves DP. This is just not fun to watch anymore.

i too can't stand watching js anymore. she is the most disgusting,retarded,annoying,vile piece of crap i've ever seen on tv. i truly want her to die a horrible death. she's not even human to me and just when did ad become such a spineless weenie? tell ur disgusting wife to shut the hell up or better yet slap the crap out of her for torturing ur daughter. she's even making bh feel like he's some kind of a loser and then that in turn makes dj feel bad. her putrid behavior just trickles down to everyone. btw,did i mention i want her to drop dead?

finsroy, I was thinking the same thing about BRAT going over to JY's and once again slapping her around or ripping the necklace off her neck, or throwing water on her and I was HOPING that maybe this is the time that JY said "Enough!" and whips out her SuperGirl cape, puts it on and then grabs BRAT's hand and throws her to the ground and jumps on her and pummels her! No chance, huh? *lol* I guess we're going to have to watch JY get it from BRAT once again...*sigh* Just ONCE, I'd like to see JY stand up for herself, I guess that's too much to hope for?

Carly - you & I are really on the same wavelengths about it all. AD - I mean, he is supposed to be the man of the house and until saying that they should give in tonight was really the first supportive thing he did. But he allows JS to take DP's purse, phone, etc. and stands there to watch it all. And then when SJ restrained DP from trying get the phone...argh.

So nice of SJ to be so involved in DP's life when his is so messed up.

I wondered about that conversation with JS & DJ at the wedding too. I wonder what that is about.

Andrea, I know...I was so disappointed in AD - he should have defiantly yelled for JS/SJ to stop and leave DP alone. It was awful to watch...I was crying. It's definitely abuse.

I hope they bring that up again, about JS carrying DJ's bags, etc...and not just let it drop. I'm wondering if JS worked for DJ's household or something back then? But I didn't know that DJ came from a rich house? I can't figure this one out...hopefully, it will come out somewhere along the line here.

I took the comment from DJ/JS as a child hood moment. JS was poorer than all her friends now. She might have hold their school bags to be accepted by them. Even the poor have a hierarchy.

That's a good conclusion. I've not watched too many K-Dramas, so you are definitely more tuned into the reasoning than I am...this is probably what it was.

If I were BH or DP, I'd have no problem asking him to squash the transfer to the US considering he gave the approval. He understands the love thing as he always pined for DJ the way he did.

But based on this episode it looks like they won't have to worry since DP starved herself for the day.

Let's see...DP can starve for a day & go unconscious. Wonder how long it would take me? Sad thought...probably many days! (I don't think she has a bathroom in her bedroom...I think about those things when characters lock themselves into their room.)

if shes really sticking to it people can only go 2 to 3 days without water add to that the crying, stress, and the fact she weights less then a German Shepard and it's buyable that she'd get that sick.

Come to think of it, you never see the "well rounded" characters lock themselves into their rooms and starve. I guess it speaks to our resolve to adequately provide nutrition and liquids to our bodies (and french fries and ice cream...)
