In honor of Adrienne's first book, Bird & Fish, the month of June will be Bird & fish Avatar Month!

Rules:

1. Keep it clean please.

2. Either a bird or a fish. Extra pats on the back for an avatar using both.

3. Nothing offensive please.

Ok, so get to looking!

My avatar is a bird fishing!

This bird is a black skimmer: They fish by dragging their beaks along the water.

I saw these birds in South Carolina, on an Isalnd off the coast in the Beaufort area. I was wading through the water to a sand bar... when a group of these gorgeous birds flew by, trolling for fish.

I had just come back from a visit to SC, when I joined the forum. Hence, the screen name! Very Happy

It's nature. Now if you can find a shark eating a penguin, that would even things out.

Nancy, yeah--especially since the bird is consuming the fish---NOT what Adrienne's book is about! Laugh Out Loud Laugh Out Loud

It can be just a bird or a fish in the avatar--it doesn't have to be both.

I guess it's all how you look at... my fish could be saying
I Love Yoooo... while the bird holds the fish up for a look around the pond.

In keeping with Adrienne's romantic story Bird & Fish, I chose a cute and romantic Avatar.
