I watched this drama over the summer and I really liked it... but I never wrote a review.
So here goes...
This series is unusual, for a Korean drama, because it is void of the standard, cliché plot devices. It is about a couple who are around thirty and separated, but still friends. They are dealing with some baggage that haunts them.
The acting, directing and script were good. It felt like a long movie in terms of quality. In fact, the director of this drama normally directs movies.
I got attached to the two leads and their best buddies, while watching this series. The multi-dimentional quality of the characters makes them feel like friends, because they seem so human. Their personalities and dilemmas inhabit gray areas rather than being delivered in neat little packages. Throughout the series the viewer hears the inner thoughts and reactions of (both of) the leads to one another. This is interesting, because their perspectives on the same events and issues were so different at times. In keeping with the "real life" tone of the drama, the ending is not completely happy (it was happy enough, though).
This series was thoughtful and satisfying -- I recommend it!
I'd love to hear other people's thoughts on this one... _________________
