It was a short show tonight and kind of hard to summarize but I will give it a shot.


The restaurant is busy and everyone pitches in.

Myeongju and BZ meet at Myeongju's place and discuss a book BZ wants to make into a movie. Myeongju suggests changing the name of the business to Yun Planning after the movie is done but BZ turns her down.

BZ returns to work and calls the author of the book she is interested in producing. The author turns her down so BZ calls her mom and gets a schedule of the author's activities.

Later, BZ shows up at the gym and gets on the treadmill next to the author. She talks with him a bit about his book. That evening, in her room, BZ and SH discuss the movie. BZ refuses to approach SH's work for funding.

Emo and Jisu fold wash together and talk about college.

BZ is at work and receives a call from Yeongmin. He congratulates her on getting the movie rights. He agrees to invest in the movie.

SB shows up at EH's house with more books. Mom congratulates him on receving 1st place. It is revealed that he and EH are at separate colleges.

Emo wakes to find breakfast waiting for him and Jisu gone. Meanwhile, Jisu is at Young granny's house helping to prepare food.

BZ is uncomfortable but insists on going to Young granny's house for the ancestral rite. When they arrive, everyone fusses over her.

Young granny helps WFH and Myeongju prepare food. Emo drops off a large container of ribs sent by old granny. Jiung arrives as young granny is leaving so he gives her a ride home.

That night, everyone beds down. SH and Emo wind up with Taesik in the living room. BZ and Jisu wind up with Myeongja. Myeongtae is left on his own and gets a bit depressed about his kids.

The next day, BZ, SH, Emo and Jisu give their bows. BZ goes into labor and is rushed to the hospital. BZ's mom and EH arrive after a little bit.

Meanwhile back at the ranch, FCH and Myeongju have arrive and the wait begins.

Apparantly Korea has not kept current on child birthing because BZ is in a delivery room while everyone paces in the waiting room. Eventually they hear a baby cry. A nurse comes out and tells them it is a girl.

SH calls Emo. Taesik calls BZ's dad. They "argue" a bit over who should name the child. (They each want the other to do it.) Dad finally agrees to it.

BZ is back in her room, surrounded by family and the baby is brought out. BZ comments that the baby is ugly and wrinkled. She asks if the baby is really hers. Everyone laughs.

At this point we are shown scenes from the beginning of the show. The scenes were of BZ & SH's troubled relationship. They also showed scenes of Jisu and Emo - before they got together.

 

Why did they show so much of the whole drama at the end never saw that before ??

Summary done.

 

It was like a recap, if you looked in the upper LH corner it said something like past shows.


I think since I am not summarising the next show, as the summary police I am going to have to keep a tighter rein on all these silly character nicknames and abbreviations. They have the potential to confuse readers of our site who may not be in on all out inside jokes. Pray tell, why is Jimin "SB"???

Remember everyone telling KBS how much we loved learning about Korea and Korean? Learning the characters proper names is a nice way to start!!!

I never used nicknames aside from their initials.

I'm gonna try not to fall into nicknames with the new show even though i called the last batch Shiny,Luxury girl, Farm boy and Farm girl till the end.

I was thinking the same thing.
I'd thought at least SH would be near the delivery if not by her side.

when they started the recap I worried we'd goofed and that was in fact the last episode.

If the summary police had been paying attention when SB first made his appearance, he was being referred to as "Subway Boy" which is abbreviated SB.

Part of the charm here is making up nicknames for the characters. Take that away and what do you have? Just another boring summary.

BTW, if you aren't writing a summary or 2 then you should cut the rest of us some slack. I typically write 3 summaries in a week.

Hey, it will be plenty of work for me to go through 5 summaries a week and fix all the names, slack schmack!

Down here in Texas for the holiday & I agree, Lucas, because I am having a terrible time following the show since each "summarizer" uses different nicknames. As the originator of CG (Chipmunk Girl), I love the idea of nicknames, however, it is hard to follow when everyone has their own preference.

Anyway, I'm grateful for the summaries. Whoever said the show should have ended with the wedding was right, in my opinion, since nothing much has happened since then. This has almost been the Seinfeld of KDs...a whole show about nothing...except that one was funny I've enjoyed it though.

  Wake me when it's over.....
