MTae is meeting with RichGmom and expecting to be scolded. Surprisingly, she doesn’t. She knows how hard he tried. She tells him not to worry about the rent and expenses. She tells him his regret that she couldn’t do more for him and how much she missed him growing up. He cries. He asks her to hug him. She does.

RichMom & RichDad come home from their night of dancing. EJ tells them she made the fish stew. Mom goes into to taste it and makes a face. Apparently, EJ forgot the garlic. EJ jokes about having SH do all the cooking & cleaning.

EH & Jimin walk home. He makes her close her eyes. She thinks he’s going to kiss her but he gives her a locket. She goes inside & sees the pictures of the two of them inside. Jimin tells her he always wants to remember that he loved her when he sees the locket.

RichGmom comes home. YoungGmom is trying to tell RichGmom not to help MTae and to have him forget about the karaoke. RichGmom is playing it that she doesn’t care if he gives up or not. YoungGmom doesn’t understand how RichGmom could give up on him.

MJa & Taesik are in their room. They want to help MTae too with the expenses & rent.

MTae is pondering what to do with the business and his life. He calls EMO and wants to learn the food & restaurant business. He agrees to meet EMO at 4 AM when he goes to the market. He tells EMO that he’s going to give up the karaoke and find something else more suitable. By the time they arrive at the market, MTae is asleep and EMO leaves him in the truck while EMO does the marketing. He doesn’t wake up until they are on their last delivery.

When MJu drops off Mina, YoungGmom tells MJu about everything going on with MTae. She wants MJu to help him. MJu goes back to FCH waiting in the car and discusses her disappointment with MTae. He tries to get her to see the situation from another point of view.

YoungGmom tries to find MTae. She doesn’t find him at the karaoke. She runs to the restaurant in a panic. RichGmom isn’t worried. That sets off YoungGmom. She starts yelling and tells RichGmom that she was too harsh on him yesterday and that she should help him. YoungGmom thinks it has to do with the fact that she raised MTae and that RichGmom hates her for that. YoungGmom says RichGmom would be happy if YoungGmom just disappeared.

Forgive me if I am wrong, but wasn't it young granny who told old granny to be mean to Myeongtae? So now she is upset with old granny cause she thinks old granny is being mean to Myeongtae.

 

Exactly! Maybe I fell asleep somewhere along the way but RichGmom never said one mean word to MTae. It was ALL YoungGmom who kept screeching and smacking him.

Young-granny really needs a can of whoop-a opened on her by old-granny, and by the looks of things she's finally going to get it. She has no redeeming qualities at all. Even MTae has come to his senses (somewhat) but that chick just keeps going backwards. This episode made me so angry. I'm so glad this mess is almost over.
Oh and another thing, has anyone noticed how much weight SH has lost? Sure, his arms look fabulous but his face is so thin.

Yeah when YoungGmom asked RichGmom if she just wanted her to disappear, I was like YEAH - go ahead & do it. It'll make the last few episodes better!

I applaud RichGmom for handling MTae the way she did. She could have pulled the plug on him & the investment but she didn't. Plus the story she told about looking at each soldier's name tag made me cry.

I had a hard time paying attention last night, maybe it was because i was tired...maybe not.

but my favorite part was when S mom came rushing into the restaurant, put Mina on the floor and walked into the kitchen.
then Tasik also walked right past her and into the kitchen.
What kinda babysitters are you?

I kinda wish i could watch the next 10 episodes all at once and get it over with.

Ok, seriously, I need your guys help on this- I set my VCR to tape this one (friday nights episode) but I just looked at my tape and I have 35 minutes of wybe's "wild about philly". Now the time on my VCR is correct, and the program is also set for the correct time. What am I missing here????

No, it couldn't have been that because my program is set on the setting to tape M-F at the specified time slot. And it couldn't have taped over it since I didn't touch the tape since.

Last night I was thinking about it some more and for a second I thought maybe my VCR thought Saturday was Friday and taped that other show but if it did that, it would have thought Friday was Thursday and still taped H&E anyway. You know, I think this is the first time I've missed an episode of this one, and it's a shame because I almost made it through an entire daily without missing one single episode. So close!!
