I saw the first episode of Baker King, Kim Tak Goo and I like it.

I do too. Finished ep. 6 and . . .

that's where the time jump comes & the adult actors take over. Too bad really. The kids are great. The lead boy actor is the spittin image of Kim Nam-gil, with a broader face. The cute girl who played Jang Geum as a child here plays a 14-ish girl who regularly gets beaten up by an abusive father. Somehow her adorable image from DJY makes her mistreatment seem all the worse.

This probably should be in the Dramas General category. It's prime time, twice a week. For number
of episodes I've seen both 30 and 36 quoted in different places.

I'm up to episode 13 on the Baker King. It's really very good! Lots of subplots and crossed wires and folks almost-but-not-quite meeting up with each other and finding out stuff about other folks! Very suspenseful!

I think the Step-Mother may possibly be the Greatest Evil Doer in K-Drama History! This woman is un-bee-lee-va-ble! She's so deliciously nasty I think she must share D.N.A. with Cruella Deville! She's like a horrible car wreck! I don't wanna look at her but I can't seem to help myself! She's that magnetic in her sociopathic badness! I am compelled to keep watching this just so I can scream and holla when she finally gets what she deserves!

No matter how tough you think you are you cannot watch this drama without 10 box a tissues. It has me bawling out loud. If you don't want your heart ripped to threads do not watch this one. That Manager Han has to be SATAN reborn.

I wasn't really surprised that Manager Han turned out to be a bad guy; I think he's played by the same actor that portrayed the corrupt agency head in IRIS (except he had silver hair and different glasses in that role!).

Isn't that Kim Tak Goo wonderful? His father is such a dolt to put so much trust in Manager Han. But Manager Han and his evil consort, the she-devil, will have it coming to them big time. This is one of the wickedest pairs that I have ever seen. They both are going to rot, no burn in hell.
