Actually, white is ALL colors. Black is not a color - it is the absence of color.
Similarly, there is no quantifiable thing as "cold" - there is only the absence of heat.

This is true of light, not pigment.

Black is (theoretically) the combination of red, blue and yellow (the primary colors).
White is (technically) the absence of color, as you can't mix pigment to create white.
However, in the art world, there are substances which are added to paint base to create shades of white, and paper itself is bleached white, which is a chemical reaction, much like adding pigment to paint to create the different colors.
So Theresa and her friend are correct as well... _________________
