What is the KBFD?

I found this website by going on koreanwiz for YH. I did a bit lurking-for quite a bit- and then just jumped in. It's mucho fun plus it nice to log and say did you see that hussy slap that girl and have 20 people know what your talking about. hug

With a person like Sua, I'll be like did you see what that hussy did to JY pretty frequently now. But you know these actors are pretty good, I remember reading that one actor ( I think from Harry Potter-) people would come up Him and hiss and boo and tell him how much of a horrible person he was- I wonder if Koreans do that to their actors. e5h0

Hello!!

I basically found this group through another forum I was on. I was looking for some kind of tutorial to help me with my subbing, and the person recommended I come here. At first I was just going to check out the Tutorials, but then I started to explore this forum, and came to like it. So, yeah here I am. =DD

I was told about EWG many moons ago by a friend of mine who had stumbled across it on WYBE in Philly. I got really into EWG and found out there were other fans so started the EWG Yahoo group which has evolved into a Korean Historical Yahoo group.

I finally came here to check it out. I don't chat much on these forums, mainly lurking and getting info.

Nice try, Min Joo.
Everbody knows that that's what happened on the night when
Dae Jo Young was born.....not you. Unless you're planning
on becoming the Empress of the new and improved Gogoryeo.
Huh, PAY HA?

~~~~~~~~~~~
Personally, I blame "The Immortal Admiral Yi Soon Shin."
There was NOTHING on my TV, so I went around the channels and found......
"WHAT IS THIS????????"
I knew that the other guys were Japanese, because I recognized their helmets.
No dis-respect intended, but they were wearing salad bowls with deer antlers attached.
I thought that their opponents were Chinese. (I'm sorry.) Blushing
But pretty much.......I had no clue as to what I was watching. Rolling Eyes
The next night was either "The Bizarre Bunch" "Pure in Heart" or "High as the Sky........"
Saturday night and Sunday night, it was back to the Admiral, for the last few episodes.
That's all it took. I was hooked.
So I did a search on the Admiral, Korean TV, "Koreatowns" in the US and abroad,
and finally found this site. I may be wrong about my facts, but I THINK that my
first post here was in the thread, "What we learned about Korea from watching TV."
Still the funniest thread on this site. Can you imagine if we wrote a travel guide? Laugh Out Loud
I figured that I belonged with this group of other criminally insane kdrama fans.......
So here I am. Very Happy
I have been here since the yahoo days of yore. It was back in the STIL, TBWY, YH era. I remember the moment vividly when I discovered there were many others besides me losing sleep on account of PBS! Thanks for pulling it together friends! e8n2
