A black dress is usually worn to a wedding (among Italian-Americans at least) only if
the groom dumped you for the bride, and you plan on creating an ugly scene at the church.
And is there a strike going on in Seoul, among professional hair stylists?
What other explanation is there for that...."I'm only going out to throw out the garbage,
so there's no need to comb my hair" hairstyle.

If you don't get neatly dressed up for a wedding, with or without famous people included,
then when......................

The one in the blue dress...is a trendy style out right now.
The one in black...looks like shorts. Top is very stylish/trendy neckline.
Don't think her hair looks that bad. Looks like mine & too much humidity.

There was another Dae Jo Young attendee. I can't be blamed for not recognizing him when
I saw another version of this picture.

Jung Ryeo Won, his costar from Into the Sun 5 years ago, was 'dressy' too.

If anybody's looking for Into the Sun btw, it's up on YouTube in 8- to 10-min segments, with subs.
I think it was just posted in March. Not sure if the whole series is there---I guess I'll find out,
just started watching it.

I misidentified Jung Tae-woo's 'Into the Sun' co-star and wedding attendee as Jung Ryeo-won.
It was Kim Jung-hwa. I was right about the dressy part though---she was dressy.

Wanna get the name right cuz in the first episode of 'Into the Sun' he tries to undress her,
then two episodes later plants a long liplock on her---so they must've gotten fairly chummy.

Thanks to everyone who posted pictures of the lovely bride and groom.

But I'm still surprised that after what? almost a yer of filming together,
that there wasn't more of a DJY group of people at the wedding.

And I still think that after the reception, most of the guests went home,
and began their next scheduled activity of the day:
wearing the appropriate clothes for cleaning out their basements.

Postmortem (postamorem?) on Jung Tae-woo’s wedding.

It was nicely orchestrated from beginning to end, right up to now when they’re releasing
a new photo of the honeymooners every couple of days.

I started this thread last Nov. complaining JTW’s management agency wasn’t doing enough
for him. He signed with another group not long after that. I don’t know if they were involved
in the planning & execution of this, but it’s been a classy, publicity-conscious job. A freebie
like this doesn’t come along often in an actor’s life, it’s a promoter’s dream. I think it was
managed about as well as a celebrity’s marriage could be. Besides the personal meaning
it had for the couple, it should benefit Jung Tae-woo’s image & career. I’m for that.

All that’s missing is news he’s working again. Go get ‘em, Taewoo-ya! Figh-ting!

For a long time he had a photo of himself on a vacation in Flagstaff, Arizona, as the front-n-center photo
on his Cyworld site. This has replaced it.

Last night I was watching OPEN CONCERT on KBS. It was a special in honor of the opening of the Moonlight Rainbow Fountain on the Han River. It was a terrific concert. Right in the front row was Jung Tae Woo & his cute new wife, holding hands. A group called Yurisangja (Glass Box) was singing a song saluting brides in honor of May. It was so sweet...great song & they were such a cute couple.

Here’s the first career-related news about Jung Tae-woo I’ve seen in a while. Somebody’s been
reading my wish list.

Looks like he’s in rehearsals to appear in a reworked production of the stage musical “Lunatic” on
July 17. Now called "Jazz Lunatic," the show is a musical version of Neil Simon’s play “The Good
Doctor,” set in a mental hospital. The show’s creator, comedian Baek Jae-hyun, who is apparently
a long-time friend of JTW and his family, originally produced the show about 5 years ago. It was so
successful it was moved to the Sejong Performing Arts Center and was followed by another Baek hit,
the b-boy musical “Sky Walk.”

Cute pictures of JTW having fun on an MBC quiz show Sat. nite, July 25. He’s done several of these
lighthearted TV appearances lately. Everywhere he goes they quiz him—on his new marriage. He's
glad to cooperate, not backward at all about sharing his joy in his life as a married man, paying
his wife sweet compliments. I’m backward about repeating any of it because Google mangles the
Korean so bad. I do know for sure the article with this one described him as “talkative, full of wit.”
