Hello! This is my first post here.

Sorry if this is not the place for asking about Korean names.

Is there anything wrong or weird about these names:

Hwang Tae Ja
Kwan Johan
Park Mi Kyoung

I'm working on a novel that has some Korean characters at the moment, and I had to make up some names y'know.

Hi, Mona! Nice to meet you.

I'm a writer, too, mostly professional and trade stuff during my career, but novels and short stories since I retired. I have an agent but so far, not a publisher.

One of my stories is about a woman captivated by Korean TV dramas. A website of Korean names, those popular today and during various historical periods, was very helpful. You can, if you want, match a character's given name with his personality since many of the names have literal meanings. Don't recall the URL at the moment, but you can Google.

Good Luck

Names have a meaning (in Korean, it's literal), so almost any name can be given a child. For example, Kim Sam Sun means "Third Daughter" - funny, but there are women in Korea that actually have that name. Or, Nam Yong Saeng means "Foreigner (Nam) Eternal (Yong) Life (Saeng) - also unusual, but not unheard of. Your names sound fine.
