Well, according to posts here, I didn't know Suin lost her baby unless it happened during last night's July 2 ep. which I still have to watch. Sorry to hear it.

Thanks Min Joo, I think I'm going to skip watching this ep. It would be too sad and I'd cry, I'm so sorry for Suin, she's gone through so much already and she was counting on her little baby. I'm finding it hard to watch this one because the ex is so incredibly mean and cruel.

65 is tonight but it might be too sad too.

Synopsis of 64:
Suin was going to the store at night to get something to cook for her siblings.
SG, angry at Suin seeing HS (With her dad!) for work. Grabs her and makes her go with him.
Her stomach starts to hurt but he's too angry to care. he takes her to the Han, he begs her to take him back. when she says no he threatens to drown them both in the river.
Tired, afraid and in pain Suin tells him yes I'll go back to the US with you.
hearing this SG finally comes back to his senses, he finally notices the pain shes in but they drive home any way and Suin collapses in the driveway.

I'll spare you the graphic details but SG takes her to the hospital and seems to go into shock over what he's done.
He cries to Suin when he has to tell her what's happen.
She's the one who asks him to call her parents. (It's like the next day now.)

So I think I hope he gets that this is on him. He admitted to Suin's dad that he ignored Suin when she said she was in pain.

Oh and in other news, Dad went home but was upset it wasn't his old home. And MR found out her mother sold her home.

I lasted up to the end, when Suin started crying I lost it too.

So yes it looks like the Evil has left SG. He's just a shell of his former self.
Still I think we have a new contender for evilest Ex in a Kdrama.

Songtae's mother needs an ! What a horrible, vile, and disgusting creature she is. She gives EMILs a bad name.

I can't even believe that Suin would talk to this guy (on the bench) after what he did. He caused the death of her child! How she can even look at him, I just don't understand and how the father did not murder him on the spot, I don't understand. I don't care how sorry this guy is for what he did, it is unforgivable. This is so sad that this storyline went this way. Little Konjii was supposed to make Suin strong again, give her the confidence and strength to face anything - this is an awful turn that this story took. I know that it's because eventually, down the road, she and Hynsoo will have their own baby...but this should not have been written like this. It broke my heart when Suin played the tape of Hynsoo talking to the baby. I hate this.

It's funny that you mentioned this.
I think that the story line was originally headed in another direction.
And then, just as fast as the ex-husband showed up - he was gone.

Remember that there was a lot of "pre-discussion" about how everybody
was going to get lawyers to fight for the baby's custody in court?
Then all of a sudden there's no baby, no lawyers, no courtroom scenes,
and no ex-husband. (And we never met the boyfriend.)

This will give the writers more time to figure out who is really related to who,
and who isn't. Good luck with that one.

You know I kind of wondered if they weren't going to have her lose the baby. So sad But it wouldn't make a nice happy ending with a crazy ex.
What is so untrue is the big change in SG. That whole family is so UNBelieveable!
I never understood why they didn't put a restraining order on him. He tried to kidnapped their daughter! No one would just let it go unless you are a moron.

Wow, I'm totally loving Hiro more now since he's coming out of his shell and being a little forceful with Ms. Yu. It's soooo cute the way he talks to her now. I'm glad they put his character in this direction...he acted too much like he was afraid of his own shadow previously and definitely afraid of Ms. Yu *lol* This new Hiro is wayyyyyyyyyy sexier now (if that's possible!) because confidence is sexy.

I just joined this forum. I must say that I totally love The Road Home. It's the best Korean Drama for me. I watch so many times - it's so addictive. My favorite characters are Han Suin and Yu Hyeonsu.

Yongsun is so consistent...no matter what irresponsible things she does, it is always someone else's fault. She always says "I didn't do anything wrong". I am just amazed how she is allowed to rant and rave so much in the presence of her father, brother, etc., & almost never is she stopped! Her husband is SOOOOOOOO whipped! I get a kick out of her, though, the way she goes off like a volcano spouting words a mile a minute!
