Poor Jung Tae-Woo. He appears in two of the award dramas of the past year, "Dae Jo Young" and "Angry Mom," and makes a big splash playing the nutty Yeonsangun in "King and I." He goes to the Korean Drama Festival awards show and has his picture taken, and the press sends it out labeled Kim Tae-Woo. It's not the first time. I would like to have a serious talk with whoever is handling his publicity. This guy is a fine actor, the one who got me hooked on KHD. I'm considering doing a blog for him, calling it "not that singer guy." I think his agent should get cracking.

I've noticed the name mix up a few times, too. But it kinda worked out for me because a few months ago I did a search for Jung Tae Woo on YouTube and it led me to a video featuring Kim Tae Woo (god group), and now I love 2 Tae Woos!

Thanks for the visual reminders of JTW -- I almost forgot how hot he is!!! I miss seeing him every week.

When I first started seeing the beefcake pics of these Korean actors all over the Web my jaw dropped. Couldn't understand why they all promoted themselves that way. I guess I get it now. The competition among actors there is so fierce---it's a wonder they don't all do backflips stark naked through downtown Seoul to get attention (you'd like that, wouldn't you?).

Looking forward to seeing The Kid in Vol. 3 of "King and I" when it becomes available in the U.S. early next year. Saving my money. It won't be the first thing I've bought because he's in it.

Recognize the guy with him at the KDF awards? This is a clearer shot of him. Name's Kim Jung-Hyun. Mimosa from DJY. They were both in "Angry Mom."

Seen all those pics of him working with third-world kids as part of his charity gig? I think this guy is dying to have some kids. If I read it right he said in a couple of interviews on Korean sites lhe wanted to be "the young father of a family"---like RIGHT NOW!! The sweetie.

Hey ~
Hopefully, there might even be an evil mother-in-law someplace in the background,
who will offer to register the marriage, but will secretly rip up the paperwork,
(since the bride isn't good enough for her son) and then the marriage won't even be legal in Korea.

(Just an idea that I came up with.)

I'm certainly nobody's idea of a computer genius,
but this picture of DJY Jr. has "photoshop / air-brushed"
written all over it.

Hundreds of years ago, I took "Life Drawing" while in school,
and there was always supposed to be a skeleton underneath,
otherwise things would tend to look really sloppy.

Sorry to ruin your fantasy; but that torso belongs to somebody else.
Look at the proportion of the width of the neck, compared to the shoulders.
It's just not right.

The neck is OK, (original) but the shoulders are way too narrow.
Look at the inside of the arms. Somebody "thinned out" this area with
a computer's version of a black magic marker, to make the arms thinner
and the rib-cage so narrow, that it would be impossibe for him to breathe.
You can "see" the black, especially on the inside shadow of the arm on the left.

One more thing........nobody wears gloves when they take a sun bath.
Which brings up the question: The face, neck, and hands are one color.
The shoulders, chest, and arms have (by comparison) a brown tan.
How come?

I'm sure that "Mr. Dream Boat" is a great-looking guy, without his shirt on.
But that body ain't it.

I hope that this post of mine will help to dry some of your tears.
