The wedding is ready to start but JS is nowhere in sight. The guests are wondering why it hasn’t started.

DJ goes to see DP & BH. DP is crying. DJ tries to console her. AD &SJ walks in and wants to speak with DP. DJ leaves. AD tells DP that they need to start. DP says she’s not starting without JS. SJ tells DP that she’s being rude to the guests. DP asks how is she supposed to get married without JS being there. SJ leaves. AD tells DP to get ready. DP wants to wait a few minutes more. AD tries calling JS and no one answers.

SJ tells GH (who is officiating) to start the wedding. He makes the announcement that the bride’s mom couldn’t make it. Just as DJ is about to light the candle alone, JS comes running up the aisle to do her part. The crowd applauds. BH & DP exchange rings and it’s official. Everyone looks happy – well almost – JS cries.

The happy couple leave for their honeymoon as their families see them off. DP hugs her mom and thanks her for coming. JS acts stiff towards DP.

Granny, MB & DJ arrive home. They discuss the wedding and think everything went well. Granny comments that the house seems so empty. MB tells Granny that BH & DP will be back soon and that DP will be good to her. Granny says it’s only for a year and that she’ll have Sua move in at that point and BH can move out. Granny then starts on JS and how rude she was.

JS is in her room crying hysterically with SJ & AD looking on. They try to tell her that it’s over with and there’s nothing that can be done. Sua brings JS some tea. JS says all that she has now is Sua. AD & SJ leave. JS continues to cry.

SJ goes to his room and calls someone to get a profile on the district manager. Sua comes in as he hangs up. She asks SJ about trying to have a baby. He is shocked.

JY & Eulsu are at the clinic waiting for everyone to return. Eulsu leaves the room. JY takes the necklace out of her purse and puts it on.

VetDad, Auntie & UJ return to their house after the wedding. Miae comments that they all look tired. Auntie discusses JS and how much of a hard time BH will have with her. GJ arrives. UJ leaves after JY calls him to meet. He meets her and he notices that she’s wearing the necklace. She asks if it’s really alright to marry him. She tells him that she will. UJ is ecstatic. He picks her up and swings her around.

BH & DP are driving to their honeymoon. They can’t believe that they are married. They pass by a place that is famous for soybean paste. DP wants to stop – she says that it was her next idea for work. They take a tour. They decide to spend the night at the soybean place. It’s the wedding night and they both look a little nervous.

BH & DP decide to call their parents. JS answers BH’s call and hands the phone to AD in disgust. They talk and DP gets on the phone with AD. She asks about JS and wants to talk to her but JS leaves the room. DP apologizes to AD for the trouble they caused. AD tells them to have a nice time. They hang up. DP cries. Then DP calls DJ. DP wants to talk to Granny but Granny says never mind. MB talks to DP and tells her that he’s happy that he has another daughter. They hang up. Granny leaves the room after listening to what MB told DP.

UJ walks JY home. He still can’t believe that she said yes. JY tells him that she’ll tell her family first. She walks into the house. Miae notices the new necklace. JY tells them that she said yes to UJ. Everyone is so happy. If only JY looked happy.

Sua is in the shower and goes to her room in hopes of getting a little bit of attention. She puts a little perfume on and snuggles up to SJ. He rolls over.

BH prepares the bedding for the wedding night. They still look awkward and nervous. BH tells DP to wash up first. He wanted to get a bottle of wine. He runs to get it. When he comes back, she is asleep. He covers her.

The next morning, they awake and are startled to see the other. They both scream. BH tells her that she must be the only woman to sleep in her clothes on their first night. She sees the bottle of wine. BH tells her that they’ll drink it tonight. Tonight she asks nervously. Then someone calls for breakfast and they both jump to go.

SJ is in his office. He is trying to get an inside meeting with someone in the district office. BI comes in to discuss the district manager and how he keeps avoiding them.

Uncle goes to see Chan. Uncle tells Miae that he’s leaving for Kazakhstan the next day. He pulls Miae aside and gives her money for Chan’s lesson. Miae tells Uncle to try to stay friends with her for Chan’s sake. He says goodbye. She tells him not to fail again.

DP & BH go to work making soybean paste. At the end of the day, DP goes to her room but can’t find BH. He texts her to go to meet him at the crocks. He has a candle lit dinner waiting for her. He thanks her for marrying him. She tells him to not change the feeling he has right now. They lean in to kiss.

Summary done.

Now - they were the one couple I didn't think would miss out on that first night. Silly me.

I'm glad that JS at least showed. How embarrassing. But Granny wasn't much better with the scowl that she had on her face.

Awww, BH and DP are one of the cutest Kdrama couples I've seen.

I thought DP was a lovely bride. I loved her hair & makeup.

I think the wedding night was cute, sweet & funny...just like they are as a couple.
And BH's wine, flowers & candlelight was very romantic.

seriously,i wouldn't want to be touched by her either. i'm glad sj's acting like he is towards brat. her behavior is so disgusting and yet she still acts like the victim. not only that but she still hasn't apologized about the whole necklace thing and knowing how pathetic she is it'll probably never come.

of course js would show up but i really wished she hadn't. she doesn't deserve to see dp get married. she doesn't deserve anything but a bludgeoning to the head with a sledgehammer. she still was her vile self at the wedding so why even show up if you're gonna act like that? she truly is a worthless pile of crap who cares for no one but herself and her "level". that scene with brat consoling js was truly sickening. those two truly deserve one another.

I felt bad for her too, given the messed up nature of their relationship I get this feeling that between the sheets is the only place they make sense and without that it just sucks.

Finsroy, I still hold to Sua being the lesser of 2 evils.
she is the only one who is realistically redeemable.
she was brought up spoiled and selfish, her father wasn't there and I don't think she ever got over losing her mother, but it's within her power to take a look at herself and change.

their redemption can only be a work of fiction.

I thought the screaming when they woke up was a little out of character, they're not that innocent besides you went to bed in the same bed knowing you're married aren't you expecting to see that person when you wake up?
(also it's not their first time waking up next to each other.)

2. It has been a few years but methinks I didn't make soybean paste on my honeymoon. I think we were making hay!
3. Nice of mama to show up just in time to be a little heroine at the wedding & then do a total passive aggressive number on DP and afterward. If I was DP, I would be so pissed at mama I wouldn't speak to her until she has 6 grandchildren by Sua (somewhere around the 12th of NEVER!).
4. BTW Minjoo, I agree that Sua is redeemable...SJ is not. Granny is a nasty old fart no matter how they end up spinning her when the show concludes.

It's not weird to me. When I woke up the next morning , I fell off my bed when I saw my husband next to me. I was scared to have a man in my bed. Then I was like 'oh wait, yea I am married to him now. I better get use to it."

SJ can't stand the sight of Brat, doesn't matter what she's offering up, he ain't havin' none of it even if it is for free.

I thought it was mean of Brat to DP and just blurt out that her mother was not coming...she purposely wanted to hurt her. And DP, get serious...all that crying because her mother wasn't coming? After the way her mother behaved, that's the last person I would want at my wedding. I didn't care for DP much when she said "I can't go through with the wedding if my mother is not here." Grow up. JS is the worst character I have ever seen on K-Dramas, I don't have a word bad enough to describe her. She's beyond selfish. (Did anyone notice, I think it was the ep. before this one where her voice was going? It was all hoarse, I thought to myself that all that screaming finally got to her...but then she was screaming again in the next scene again..*sigh*)

Didn't the wedding come up super fast. One day they didn't have approval and the next day they were getting married! Super fast, that's why I love K-dramas. If this was the regular soaps, it would be six months before they were married! *lol* Also, I did not recognize DP at all. I didn't even know if was her except that she was standing in the wedding dress. When BH looked in on her, I thought he had the wrong room! I loved her veil and earrings.

Yes, you are right about the video. I remember watching it, and I was surprised at his response about Eva being more his type. BH and DP really seem like they would make a great couple in real life. I guess it just shows what good actors they are.

Amen to both...Nara let her dying son drag himself out of the hospital on Parents' Day to bring her flowers & she left him in the street. I'll never believe that she redeemed herself so easily and so fully...that woman was totally unforgiveable.

I agree that JS is the most annoying, but in no way the evilest. KDs have a hall of fame somewhere (I'm sure) for the worst of the lot.

My vote for worst EMIL is from Hot Tropical Nights in December. She was the same actress who played the EMIL in MSMD. ( She plays those parts so well!) She was downright abusive to her DIL in that one!
