I was surfing some DJY episodes on Netlusion, and I saw a clip from a Korean drama called "King and I". Who do you think was the main character? The actor who plays Geom, sporting a beard and playing a king with a very, very bad attitude. Based on the costuming and hair styles, it looked like it takes place during the same general era as Yi Soon Shin. In the space of one episode I also saw other familiar faces: Wakizaka/Gom Mojam, Shilla general Kim Chan (the one DJY killed), Zhang Xiaowei (Tang general whom Li Haigu just killed), Brue from AOW, and the young crown prince from YSS.

first off, let me say KARMA for the delicious topic subject. love it. i bet he is a bad, bad boy. i'm first in line to discipline him.

Hi, everyone. I'm new here. Since you're dishing about my K prince, I thought I'd join in. I've also been looking for pics of Geomi out there, for months. kpopvideo has some good ones in two different categories: go to www.kpopvideo.com/sarang/stars-Dae_Jo_Yeong or www.kpopvideo.com/sarang/stars-Jung_Tae_Woo-p1. There's a great photo there of three generations of the Dae family in their handsome getups, an informal shot taken off the set, with Choi Soo Jong, Jung Tae Woo, Im Hyeok, and the boy who played Dani (Kim Syuk?). Otherwise the best photos of JTW in the full Geomi regalia are the baseball publicity stunt pics from last fall. Some are on popseoul.com but there are others out there too. It sure is true that when you come into these series late in the game you don't get the photographic treatment the guys get who're in it from the beginning. Geomi Changgun, manse!

Thanks for the reply, Joygant. Whew, I'm just glad the pics cme through. Now I feel like I'm really "embedded" on the board.

Both photos are from kpopvideo (see my first post). The Dae family album photo is a mystery. Could've been taken by a tourist or somebody in the crew. I like to think they posed it that way because they'd been getting protests that Geomi was being abused and somebody oughta treat him right. Here's another one from kpop. They must've had an open set during the DJY filming---there are a lot of photos of tourists milling around, snapping pictures, getting autographs, etc. Pay kpopvideo a visit, their DJY and JTW pages are worth a surf.


 

oh trust me, I've been to the KPop website many times. It's where I find the majority of my tasty Choi Soo Jong pictures. see the Choi Soo Jung Forum --->http://forum.koreandramas.net/topic_159.html if you want to know what i mean. i went to JTW's page there the other day, but I wasn't thorough and I missed most of what you've found. like the candid you just posted. make sure you add it to JTW's forum thread.

The Photobucket gremlin struck this thread. Don't you hate neatnik netizens? I didn't know photos would be deleted from the forum if you deleted them on Photobucket. Can't live with myself. I'm putting two of the JTW photos back.

It isn't us who did it it is Photobucket.

Very simply - in order to post pics on the web you need to have a site hosting those pics. A site like Photobucket, Image shack or even your own gallery here. The actual pic is then stored on the server of where ever you uploaded it. When people view your pic, the data is transfered from where ever you have it hosted to the forum where the viewers are. This uses the bandwidth of the hosting site. Some sites don't like that because they have limited bandwidth they are allotted each month. This is why you will sometimes see pics that have a message like "Don't steal our bandwidth". This is also why I encourage users NOT to hot link (link directly to the image on another site).

Lastly, free photobucket accounts also have a bandwidth limit. That is why you will sometimes see pics with the message "Bandwidth exceeded".
