The main character is Yu Hyechan who is 29 years old.Hyechan is married to Kang Bongman who is her old classmate in high school whom she despised and hated because of his cocky attitude.But later she fell for him after being rejected by Shi Woo her crush.
This drama takes the audience back to the 1990s. The main character of the drama, Yu Hyechan, 29, reverts mentally to an 18-year-old girl after having a car accident. As she recovers her memory and the relationship with her husband, Kang Sang-yeong, she goes through many hilarious and heart-moving moments.

This drama is now available through KBS America on an EOR (episode on request) basis. You can order single episodes or the whole set. It's probably the only way you can buy it and be assured of good English subtitles.

I bought a set and after viewing can give it excellent marks. Picture quality is great, subs are excellent. Very satisfactory.

Many of you enjoy seeing the same old actors appearing in new programs such as Likable or Not. As a relative K-drama newbie, I get the same enjoyment…but the process is reversed for me. I’ll click on the first episodes of old programs on DailyMotion or YouTube and see people from Pure in Heart, SHEW, LON, or The Infamous Chill Sisters.

So far, the record is six familiar faces when I watched episode one of “18 vs 29”. They had both husbands of Na Deokchill from the ICS, as well as Okgeum, Dalsu, and Grandpa Hong (Shin Goo) from PIH. I think I also saw Hyeonu (plastic surgeon) from LON.

They packed a lot of great stuff into the first episode. It must have been challenging to keep up the momentum afterward.

Shin Goo…he pops up almost everywhere. When Korea first got TV, I’ll bet they used his image as a test pattern.
