B mom calls S mom and tells her the kids left to go check on MY leaving her all alone to clean up.
in order to lure her to the restaurant where they decide to give her a surprise party
they all apologize for forgetting her birthday and give her money.

EH gives her flowers and S mom remarks about her behavior on Taesik's birthday and EJ promises to make him soup next year.
she then offers to help MJa in the kitchen.

MY's in his hospital room reading when his birth mom comes in.
they talk about Jisu and MY explains about Jisu's step mom being his Aunt.
his B mom has brought him Eel soup to build his strength.
MY asks about SJ's dad.
mom explains he works overseas and wont be back till the end of the year.
she says she hasn't told him about MY yet because she doesn't want to tell him over the phone.
MY tells her she doesn't have to tell him if it's gonna complicate her life.
he wants her to be happy.

JD gives HY back her passport and suitcase.
he tells her maybe it would be good for her to have some time to herself.
he also gives her the weekend package the kids gave them, telling her it's up to her.

EH and JM take the subway home, on the train JM lays a handkerchief over EH's bare legs.
later she asks him why.
he says it was just so guys didn't stare at her legs but that he doesn't mind her wearing shorts she has nice legs and should show them off.
(if Greg was still watching he'd be proud)
he gives her the talking doll she asked for.
when she gets home she gives it to her dad to give to mom and tells him to say something nice to mom.

EJ and SH drop his parents off at home.
EJ is being a perfect DIL and mom finally gives her a smile and a little credit.

S mom is counting all her birthday money like her name was Scrooge Mcduck.
when B mom gives her a jade necklace set.
she apologizes for the way she acted, MJ has made her soup for years and she gets upset that she forgot one year when B mom's never had soup made for her.

EH recalls helping MJ in the kitchen with a smile, she tells SH that she really thinks MJ cares about her.
in the morning EJ's still learning, helping her mom with breakfast.
meanwhile dad goes into their room and sees HY's bags are half packed.
he leaves the stuffed Tigger on top of HY's bag.

MJ and MT come to pick MY up from the hospital, MY's birth mom sees him off.
in the car he asks to be taken to the school instead of home.
(MY's still walking gingerly)
MJ says she thought he would and they drop him off.

MJu's company gets the job with JJ corp.

S mom's at home cleaning when her stomach begins to ache.
she calls Taesik at the restaurant but the pain is so bad she can barely speak.

She then proceed to sit her 5 year old behind down & watch the rest with me.
What can I say....it was a proud mother/daughter moment...

Did WYBE air High As the Sky on Mon and Tues 10/29/ and 30? I taped but got some other programming. My tape timer has been set the same way. The last I saw Friday night M-Tae was discovering he had forgotten his Mom's b'day...Denise

Check the time on your VCR. Mine is programed to roll back 1 hour last weekend.
I had to go in & reprogram the time.
