Thank god! Its the final episode of SHEW. Though it wasnt BAD and I will miss some of the characters and as Kathy-D had said it got better at the end and should have started that way. I am sooooooo ready to move on from this snooze fest... Today is the last eps. here in NY. I kinda know what happens because I watched parts of the end ages ago and the ending is ehhhh IMHO. But I will still watch it when I go home tonight. I am looking forward to the new drama there are ALOT of people I recognize in that one. And it LOOKS interesting.

So here's to the old and here's to the new.

very touching ..love that actress ...I am not going to miss this one at all ..its almost as boring
as MPC for me anyway..The girls in this are cute and i will miss old grandma ..the uncle is
stupid ..I dont like the way rich mom is treating her husband ...and i wish she would change
her hairstyle for once ...I really am hoping the next drama has some quality to it and its not
just boy meets girl , parents disapprove blah blah then they approve so boy marries girl
I want some mystery , just anything besides a love story ...

Last few episodes were fun, watching them all change their lives drastically -- so get prepared for that, as the changes ARE enormous in some cases!

The new show started last nite for us -- looks promising and has lots of good familiar faces that I love seeing - so I am holding out high hopes for this one!

This weekend is my new show taking the place of HAPPY WOMAN so I'm looking forward to that -- and hopefully this dreadful dreadful 6 Martyrs or whatever will be over soon too so that new show will be starting!

yes the last ones were cute...was a nice way to end it with them all moving on...it was the 1 & only time i liked uncle and i cried for him...tho' i don't know why i thought he had 2 daughters....was nice to see Jisu's old BF come back as well...

on to the next ones!

Its called LIKEABLE OR NOT and so far, is going well -- everyone is clear cut, likeable and already drawing me into their family issues!! So, hopefully it will be a good one to discuss -- even tho' I'll again be MUCH further ahead than you guys are!!|

WMBC put this turkey to bed last night. If WYBE cares for its viewers, they won’t replay this one. This series started off real gloomy, but then it went way too far in the opposite direction at the end – a torrential flood of lovey-dovey mush. I estimate that 90% of the last 25 or 30 episodes were a complete waste of time. Did we need to see a non-stop laughfest between Miae, Myeongju, and Jisu on who should get up the earliest to make breakfast?

Poor Park Hae Jin. After he hit it big on The I.C.S., he was reduced to making broth, picking up groceries, and going to class. The Song Jimin character made me queasy – very girly for a straight guy.

Remember the object that Junhoon used to spank Jiung? What was that thing? Someone should spank this show’s writers with it. I think back to Junhoon’s marriage proposal to Myeongju – the wording was so convoluted that I didn’t realize it was a proposal! Also, why did we need so many blatant hints about Miae’s parents getting into a car accident? Who didn’t immediately guess that the early morning phone call to Jiung would be about that? Also, I think one of the writers or producers must have owned a brown seaweed soup franchise on the side. How many times did we hear about that soup?

To be fair, there were some good moments:

1.) Yeongmin, Muyeong, and Junhoon drop bombs on Jisu in the same episode.
2.) Myeongju chasing after Junhoon.
3.) Euhna kicks the dirty old man in the shins.
4.) All the scenes with the loan sharks.
5.) Elder Granny tells Taesik to stop being weak.
6.) Junhoon's daydream of lifting Sunim out of the way and dragging Myeongju away from a blind date.
7.) Eunju says she won’t have a family because she hates children (later says her baby is ugly when she first sees it).

What was the viewer response to this show in Korea?

Yeah the new show started on Monday by me but so far I'm not OVing it much either...it looks a bit more interesting than SHEW but so far not by much...I don't know yet about this one...but I am definately giving it a try...We'll see if I grow to OVE it or it turns out to be another snore-fest like SHEW. Here's hoping it will be good.

On a side note lately I have been enjoying the "short" dramas better...I recently saw MBCs "Thank You" now that one I OVED. Have a box a Kleenex handy though.
