BZ's mom tells BZ and Sh to move out, she doesn't need to do everything for them. Of course, BZ refuses. When Dad comes home she tells them all she will no longer serve them like royalty.

In their room, SH tells BZ to be supportive of her mother. BZ claims that part of the reason she can't be independent is her mother's fault but she agrees to move out.

Mom has taken to her bed again. Dad comes in and proposes a trip. Mom tells him she has just been the owner of a boarding house all this time. She claims Dad ruined her life overnight. He begs her to give him a chance. Later, Dad is drinking and SH joins him. SH suggests that Dad take Mom on a trip.

Young granny wakes up with indigestion and gets Old granny to prick her fingers. Young granny claims her abdomen is hard so I am sure there is some sort of cancer involved here.

SB, EH, Jisu and Emo have some fun at Myeongtae's karaoke place. Afterwards SB walks EH home and Emo drives Jisu home. Jisu tells Emo they will not being having a honeymoon. He protests but she remains firm.

When EH gets home, she checks on Mom. EH covers her up and turns off the light. In her room, EH finds a note from Mom telling her there is a snack in the fridge and not to wake her.

Jisu and her family talk about the upcoming wedding. Jiung gives her a receipt for the washing machine and talk turns to the honeymoon. Everyone is a bit upset at the lack of a honeymoon but Jisu remains firm. FCH & Myeongju agree to let her do what she wants. Jisu wants to go backpacking for her 1st anniversary. FCH suggests using BZ's Dad to officiate at the wedding. Later, in her room, Jisu looks thru Emo's baby book and cries.

The next morning, BZ shows up in the kitchen looking like a Korean Dorothy (from the Wizard of Oz). She tells Mom she will move out if Mom teaches her properly first. Mom eventually agrees. BZ is clumsy in the kitchen. Later, BZ calls Taesik to see how everyone is. She tells him that she learned to make rice and steamed eggs. She promised to make that for the family next week.

Emo prepares to leave class and asks EH about SB. After Emo leaves, EH calls SB and finds out he is sick.

BZ gives a presentation that seems to go over very well. When she and Jisu return to their office, BZ thanks Miyeong for all her help.

Mom and Myeongju have lunch. Mom doesn't know what her role is if she isn't worrying over people. She claims to be in a daze and has lost interest in housework and taking care of her family. Myeongju worries she may be in menopause but Mom tells her she is taking hormones. Myeongju tells her that she and Dad always looked so pure and serious.

Dad arranges to meet with Taesik and FCH.

Emo settles into his hospital room with Jisu next to him. Sejun and his mom arrive. Sejun asks Emo if Emo is really his brother and does he (Emo) hate him (Sejun). Emo just hugs him.

 

What was with the outfit Eunju was wearing when she asked her mom to teach her to cook? She reminded me of Rebecca from Sunnybrook Farm. If it had been blue I'd be waiting for her to break into a rendition of "Somewhere Over the Rainbow". She even had pigtails.

And what's with the rich mom. She only took care of her family all these years so she could get a higher status out of it? How selfish. That's not why you take care of your family. You do it because you love them. Aigoo

I think Mom may be having hormone backlash! I loved when she said it wasn't menopause because she takes hormones! Her life of pettiness is catching up with her...it hasn't occurred to her that her husband and both daughters have grown as human beings since they have pulled away from her & she remains face down amid the pillows. RISE UP, GIRL & take your oldest daughter to buy some grown up prego clothes and have a bit of serious "under the cover" times with hubby!

I really liked the part where Myeongjoo and Richmom were talking it over.
Myeongjoo is the best!

Too bad richmom doesn't get to a forum and talk about how those TV moms are such crazy ladies.
