I've seen eps. 1-5 and Kang Jung Hwa looks different from that avatar picture. Her hair is much shorter and has brown coloring on the show. Episode 4 has a memorable visual scene with her. That's all I'll say.

This series is enveloped in doom and gloom, but two characters busted out in episode 4 and made it viewable for now. If we're lucky, the series will orbit around them more than anyone else. First, there's the aunt of the poor family (the "old maid"). She might steal all her scenes. Second, there's the single guy with the grown-up daughter. This is the first middle-aged man I've seen in my limited K-drama viewing who is not a wimp, buffoon, or narrow-minded dictator. In a word, he is COOL! Put them in the same scene and it's dynamite. Both these parts are cast really well.

I'm excited to see Yoon Hae Young is in it...She's definitely one of my favorite actresses!

Me too. She looks much older, but is still a babe. And I agree. She and her former teacher are stealing every scene they're in, and promise to be the most interesting characters in this drama.

The Yoon's house (the exterior) in H&E is the same as the (now, get this) Yoon's house on "Noonah". Hmmm...I wonder if the 2 families are related...

Another likable thing besides the "old maid" and the "widowed dad" I found in this show is:

FINALLY - the NICE heroines in this show are NOT "stupid" with low self-esteem as those in too many other K dramas. Hope they keep it that way.

She's like Luxury Girl, but with any concept of Luxury, and lacking any redeeming cuteness, nor having any visible acting ability...

So, in other words, she's basically nothing like Yun-jeong at all? That sounds more like a good thing than a bad thing if you ask me.

I want this show to hurry up and start already so I can decide whether or not I like her.

Actually, I'm not so unsympathetic with Eun Joo as others seem to be. True, she seems to have a bad attitude. But the points she's made so far aren't entirely out of line. In fact, her viewpoints and attitude seem, in many ways, to be very 'Western'. People are expecting her to bend over backwards for them (including her husband), and when she refuses, she's labeled the "bad guy". Part of the problem, however, is Kang Jung Hwa's lack of acting ability, which makes Eun Joo a very wooden character.
Hmmm...I may end up being the one to defend her, as I had to defend the incredibly cute Luxury Girl.
