Synopsis (from Soompi front page)
Park Hae Jin, as the male lead, Jeong Mu Young, struggles through many troubles and forgiveness within his family. He doesn't like his father because he was born due to his father's affair with another woman. Hyo Joo and Hae Jin's family in this drama is completely different...her family is happy while his family is not.

Hong Su Ah, Park Hae Jin, and Han Hyo Joo will be in a love triangle in this drama. Hong Su Ah will play the character role: Yoon Eun Ha. A girl with a cheerful personality with perfect skin, no wrinkles. She thinks importantly of people's relationships and puts much effort into everything she does to make her family happy.

The drama will be focusing on different family problems faced in modern day Society.

I can give a little info on this drama. I've been watching from the beginning and its up to about the 30s now. I'm caught up as of last week Friday's ep and haven't watched this week's eps yet. Story basically about 3 families and how they're intertwined. 1st family: 3 siblings - Oldest sister Myeong Ja, son Myeong Tae, and youngest daughter Myeong Ju. They all live in Myeong Ju's apt with Myeong Ja's husband (Tae Sik) and their mother (Soon Im). Myeong Ja and Tae Sik's adopted son Mu Yeong also lives with them. Myeong Ja and Tae Sik's first (real) son is Sang Hyeon and he is married to Eun Joo who is from a rich family. An older woman befreinds Soon Im and it's revealed later she has a relationship with the family which is made obvious when she gives a gift of $10,000 at Sang Hyeon's wedding. Myeong Ja and Tae Sik run a small restaurant. Myeong Tae has a wife and kids in the US and he's studying to become a tailor so he can move to the US to be with his family. Myeong Ju works for a movie marketing company. 2nd family: Rich family with parents Jae Du and Hye Kyeong. Daughters Eun Joo and Eun Ha. Eun Joo married Sang Hyeon from the first family and they live in the rich house with Eun Joo's parents. Eun Joo does not know anything about family values so her and Sang Hyeon always fight about him being so close to his family and his always helping them. She also doesn't want to have kids which upsets Sang Hyeon. Jae Du and Hye Kyeong while still living together have a very cold relationship and they even sleep in separate rooms. The money came from the wife's side so Jae Du is upset that he couldn't do more to help his poor family, basically shutting himself out of his familiy's lives. He sees himself in his new son-in-law Sang Hyeon so he doesn't want him to make the same mistake he did (marrying rich woman, forced to abandon family) Eun Ha was protected by her mom so much growing up that she has no friends. She attends a learning institute to prepare for the college entrance exams where she meets Mu Yeong who is also studying as a promise to his older brother Sang Hyeon. She immediately falls for him and chases after him. But Mu Yeong is in love with Ji Su. 3rd family: Single father Jong Hoon and his daugther Ji Su live together. Jong Hoon is a city planner and Ji Su works with Myeong Ju marketing movies. Ji Su and Mu Yeong have been friends since they were little kids. They've never expressed romantic feelings for another at all but Mu Yeong has had feelings for her for a while and now that Ji Su sees Mu Yeong with Eun Ha, she starts to become jealous too. Jong Hoon used to be Myeong Ju's high school teacher. She's had a 20 year crush on him and still does to this day. She continues to pursue him although he only thinks of her as his old student from school. Overall, I must say that I enjoy this drama much much more than Pure in Heart. Pure in Heart was fun, admittedly, but just too goofy at so many times. Sky and Earth has great storylines and everyone does an excellent job of acting except for one person, that being Kang Jung Hwa as Eun Joo. She is one of the worst actor's I've seen. She only has 2 expressions and every line reading is like reading a book. She really sucks. But this drama is very very good and very family oriented which I like. No character is left out in the cold and they're all very endearing. I highly recommend this drama so far.

BTW, I'd like to take this opportunity to mention that my girl Eun-joo is really cute.

I think you're confusing quality with quantity.

K-Drama actresses may not be Dolly Partons, but a great many of them have very nice figures.

Of course, my two favorites Lee Tae Ran and Kim He Ae, more than make up for being a little "slim" with great talent (and very nice rear ends -- not all of us male chauvinist pigs are soley into chests!!)

Well, it was more of an observation than a critique. I prefer a nice round butt and shapely legs to big bazongers, and I'll concede that LTR has a nice body. But too many are anorexic looking for my taste. Give me a Kim Sun Ah any day!

I actually meant to say Eun-joo, not Eun-soo. I keep making that typo over and over for some reason.

Anyway, don't worry about me, bud. Like I (should have) said earlier, I am not turning my back on Eun-joo. I love her.

To anyone who watches INFAMOUS CHILL SISTERS as well as this new drama HEAVEN & EARTH:

Seolchill (Lee Tae Ran) in ICS wears a very distinctive knit cap while visiting her sister Michill at the clinic Michill works out. Hannam (Park Hae Jin) who is Seolchill's fiance/husband is also playing Mu Yeong in H&E. He shows up in the first show of H&E-- wearing the hat Seolchill was wearing in ICS!! And he's still wearing it now episode after episode!!!

How cute is that?

Jenn caught it and we checked it out -- yes, same cap, must have been a gift from Lee Tae Ran to him for his new drama!!
