Would anyone like to drool with me over this guy?

Good-looking face, although not in a conventional manner, I think what is more attractive about him is everything that happens on that face. Body in the top percentiles also IMHO.

I've watched everything he's done that is available to me and found him to be a highly versatile actor and seems to have been overlooked for a long time, except that he's really coming into his own with 18 vs. 29 and now Seoul 1945. I wish I could see all his work.

There doesn't seem to be a lot of information about him floating around, but then, I can't read Korean yet.

If you like Ryu Soo Young too, and can comment on him, I'd love to see your posts.

you're right ... seems like a very talented guy - from a romantic-comedy 18 vs. 29 to something real heavy drame like Seoul 1945. You'll also see him in Save the Last Dance (Ji Seong and Eugene) as a villain.

I've been on the lookout for good pic's of him, too. He's extriemly HOT as an ancient Mongolian warrior in Next/Rebirth.

Here are some pics...

(The warrior picture doesn't convey the totallity of his manly sexiness in this role... you've got to see him in action. Wink )

The lip color may not be applied....

Sometimes color is pumped into or drained out of photos, as any Photoshop user will tell you.

Sometimes people just have naturally pink lips.

Frankly, I think on RSY it looks very tempting. That was one of the things I first found attractive about him. I always admire a man who keeps his lips soft and his body hard. Korean men, especialy celebs, are more into skin care than American guys, I think. Correct me if I'm wrong. Anyhow, it scores points with me.

Hrrmmmppppfff! In my EXPERT opinion, the gloss is an inferior knock-off of BYJ's favorite girly-boy brand: cherry-lime sweetart.

I'm with anachronista. His lips look yummy!

I never noticed his lips looking unnaturally red, I think it's his natural lip color.

I forgot to mention the velvety voice......

Thanks for all the pictures and links.

I first noticed him in Save The Last Dance For Me. He was a TV Drama villain that I wanted to take home and heal and make him forget Eugene.

Then I saw him in Rebirth-NEXT. I fell in love.....

He was so cute in 18 vs. 29, and demonstrated such depth in the stage acting sequences.

He acts circles around the rest of the leads in Success story of a Bright Girl.

He hasn't done many movies, but there's one that I shouldn't even admit to having seen, much less owning a copy. Picture me gasping like a fish washed up on the beach.

He was really, really evil in Success story of a Bright Girl!! Evil / Twisted I couldn't believe it was the same sweet, wonderful Oon-hyuk from Seoul 1945! You're right, he was awesome in Success Story!!

Joanmarie if you think he was evil in Bright Girl's Success you should see him in Save the Last Dance for me. He is truly evil in that one.

Video capture from Rebirth/Next:

Yangban in love. RSY is playing the sogeum (??) while waiting for the girl who has captured his heart.....

Gallery Picture Number 1428

It's easy to think that he's only pretending to play. That's done a lot.

But then I found these pictures:

Gallery Picture Number 1427

Gallery Picture Number 1371

I never specialized in woodwinds, but from the way he holds the flute, and his embouchure it looks like he's had years of experience.

c0b1 How I adore a man with music in his soul!!

Welcome and Karma for your first post! Very Happy

I saw part of STLD and yeah its really good. Up there with my faves...Now if only I could finish it. I've seen him in other Kdramas too and yeah he is a pretty good actor. I like that he can play a bad-guy but you can feel for him too. I didn't see that movie but more than likely someone here did and should be able to help you. Very Happy

Summer Time is for MATURE viewers, if you know what I mean. I have a copy, mentioned only indirectly and in whispers several posts above this one. It's very tragic and yet happy in a way, not for prudes, probably best suited for ...passionate... fans of RSY. He was about 21 or 22 when he made the film, and very good in it, even if the story is, well, just an excuse.

Also featuring c0a0 RSY c0a0 , a rather hard to find drama called "Rebirth-NEXT" or "Hwansaeng-Next". You'll probably be even more in love with him when you see this one, if you haven't already. It's available to borrow through this site's Video Club.

Me too. He is good-looking, (there are admittedly more handsome actors in a standard sort of way) but what really hooks me is that he is such a fine actor. One of the most talented Korea has to offer IMHO. He's one of those that could do just about anything. I don't know much about him personally, but from the videos I've seen of him, he seems like he'd be a really sweet guy. Oozes charm. And it takes a REAL man to step out onto the catwalk in some of the stuff he's had to wear during his modeling career.

And now, for some of our favorite eye candy........

LOL! I have not seen the movie, but boy was I tempted after seeing the cover. (Even the cover art is worthy of an R rating! Laugh Out Loud.)

Is it inappropriate for anyone under the age of 15?
