When "The Road Home" was showing, the majority opinion
around here was, I think, pretty angry. I guess because it
was because Mom and Dad Doctor were SO PREJUDICED
against their possible daughter-in-law, and because the ex-husband
got away with smacking around his pregnant ex-wife............
But this drama is different ~
It seems to me as if we are all having a grand time yelling at our TVs,
over stupid hubby/dad's not picking up on all of the clues surrounding him.
Cheol (Mr. Pond Scum) is watching his evil world collapse now, NOT
in the last one or two episodes of the series, as is usual in a kdrama.
And once in a while, there are scenes when somebody actually tells the truth!!!
Not the usual question and answer "What's the matter?"......"Nothing."
But there are some pretty nice charactors in this one. Mun = my favorite.
Who knew that the t-shirt, baggy shorts, flip-flop wearing guy would clean up so good?
And that the bully dad would favor his daughter-in-law, or be so smart about love and
romance......knowing it when he sees it, and when it's not there?
I have a sneaky suspicion that the illogical plots of these kdramas are specfically
designed to make us viewers feel smart. Especially smarter that the writers!

I like bully-ish dad too. He is so smart. He loves his DIL. So sweet.
But MUN i think he is going to get let down by his girl. I feel for him.

because everyone is so blasé about everything. Mr. Kang thinks his amnesia to DEATH! When he | Spoiler (Click here to reveal) : |
| saw his mother last night (epi 106) and the rest of his family why didn't he JUMP OUT OF THE CAR and run over to them and say, "HI! I remember bits and pieces but I know you are my family!" I was yelling at him to get out of the car and say something but of course he didn't. |
And I can't stand that Cheol. He is a naaaaaassty man...evesdropping and clenching his fist. I'm afraid for Jinwu.
