He was watching "Sleeping With the Enemy" w/Julia Roberts. That scene on the boat is how she escapes her abusive husband.

I love it too!!!
HEY it wouldn't be K-drama without some illogical non-communication between characters! I love the older widows too. Yep Love is always available at any age! Wink

When "The Road Home" was showing, the majority opinion
around here was, I think, pretty angry. I guess because it
was because Mom and Dad Doctor were SO PREJUDICED
against their possible daughter-in-law, and because the ex-husband
got away with smacking around his pregnant ex-wife............

But this drama is different ~
It seems to me as if we are all having a grand time yelling at our TVs,
over stupid hubby/dad's not picking up on all of the clues surrounding him.
Cheol (Mr. Pond Scum) is watching his evil world collapse now, NOT
in the last one or two episodes of the series, as is usual in a kdrama.
And once in a while, there are scenes when somebody actually tells the truth!!!
Not the usual question and answer "What's the matter?"......"Nothing."

But there are some pretty nice charactors in this one. Mun = my favorite.
Who knew that the t-shirt, baggy shorts, flip-flop wearing guy would clean up so good?
And that the bully dad would favor his daughter-in-law, or be so smart about love and
romance......knowing it when he sees it, and when it's not there?

I have a sneaky suspicion that the illogical plots of these kdramas are specfically
designed to make us viewers feel smart. Especially smarter that the writers! Praise you!

Me too! About both of these observations. I love the interactions between FIL & DIL. And the Mun relationship definitely seems like a setup haha. But I'm so glad he has more of a fleshed-out role than those two annoying office workers that work with Nayun grrr.

I thought of a perfect solution for Nayun.
Let Mom marry Mr. C. Lee!! She seems so in love with him.LOL She looks like a cougar type any way. Also that way she can let the other relationship go. Everyone's happy. Laugh Out Loud

I don't get why everyone is so crazy about Mun... he gets on my nerves the way he is in his boss's business, asking all those personal questions instead of being at his work post.

I am not crazy about him but He reminds me of a younger brother.
I have 3 of them. Aw no hating the MUN/ Laugh Out Loud Laugh Out Loud Laugh Out Loud
He is nosy but I think it is because he wants a piece of the action and he is a sidekick character for laughs. Wink

Last nights episode! OMG! Nayun is getting on my last nerve Get you head in order. Running out in front of cars? She is such a fruit loop Jinwu needs to see her for the flake she is. She was so spunky and sassy in the beginning and I liked that. Now it is like she is a spineless girl being lead around on a chain by her mother and Mr. C.Lee. UGH!
No i don't see why they think the facade will work. Doesn't she even feel sorry for Mr. Kang's mom who thinks he is dead.
Let alone His daughter!
Heartless and selfish, the pair , so why can't she see that her mom deserves what she gets by spilling the beans.
If you love someone and that love is good they won't abandon you.

If this accident doesn't get his memory back, I think once he sees his mother, he will remember. IMO

Cheol would like this because he would immediately get to run the company instead of waiting till the parents retire.Razz

I don't understand how he can think for even a split second that she cares for him even a little?
He's always so shocked she talked to Jinwu.
Yes, she loves Jinwu. Remember blackmail was the only way she'd marry you?

How that scene in the hospital room from last night's episode *should* have gone:

"How did the accident happen?"

"On a BOAT. We went sailing at night and a storm came up and he (you) FELL OFF THE BOAT." (Not "We were on vacation when it happened.") Arghhhhhhhhhhh!

And what is so da@n hard about saying, "I have memory loss." To all of these people who recognize you!?

They have me sitting on the edge of my chair at all times thinking that he is going to say something that makes sense. His wife is all jittery around him and asking obvious questions that would expose her. However, the shorts show some headway for the next episode. Smile

Ditto for me too. And what on earth is going on with that hair of his? What is that? Is that hair rolled up into curls and then held in place with pins? You know the girlfriend is going to dump him and then I'm going to feel bad that I wrote this! I guess he's a good soul.

Obviously Mun walked into a unisex hairdresser's shop,
and cupcake (the evil girlfriend) wanted her boyfriend
to have the latest in men's hairstyles:
The Gu Junpyo ~ Lee Min Ho ~ Boys Over Flowers ~ look.
Et voila!

Well, if they had him say he has memory loss, how else could they drag this out to 155 episodes? I feel like running head on into a wall at times when I see how drawn out this is. No one gets into the deteils, it's all vague.

One of these days I keep expecting a scene with Dr Kim and Mr Kang in exam office:

Instead of Dr Kim turns from Mr Kang's chart:
Dr Kim: "Your brain waves show nothing out of the ordinary..."

Dr Kim:"Your brain waves show nothing..."
Mr Kang: (smiles and nods) "Ohhh..."

Well, if they had him say he has memory loss, how else could they drag this out to 155 episodes? I feel like running head on into a wall at times when I see how drawn out this is. No one gets into the deteils, it's all vague.

Vague is the theme of Korean Dramas on the whole. That is what keeps us coming back to see what's going to happen or when!! Rolling Eyes

now , now that just would make too much sense. LOL

I wanted to yell at them both "big DUH? Explain the details!!" but i knew in K-dramaland that wouldn't matter. Once a person thinks a certain way you have to shock or blackmail them to do anything different.

Let's not overlook that Nayun and Jinwu JUST happen to decide today was a good day to go to the beach. Laugh Out Loud

I also love how Cheol said, "We're still getting married" like it was a threat last night.

Did you see that look on his face when he said it? Evil / Twisted It is amazing how he can switch from good to evil in just one look.

Spoiler (Click here to reveal) :

saw his mother last night (epi 106) and the rest of his family why didn't he JUMP OUT OF THE CAR and run over to them and say, "HI! I remember bits and pieces but I know you are my family!" I was yelling at him to get out of the car and say something but of course he didn't.

And I can't stand that Cheol. He is a naaaaaassty man...evesdropping and clenching his fist. I'm afraid for Jinwu.

Don't worry, Jinwu can hold his own. If Cheol makes him angry enough he could kill him. Good or Bad ?
