I tripped across this site earlier this evening. After I got done playing with IME so I could type Hangul, I started doing the lessons on this site. It could not have been easier. The guy who put the site together constructed the lessons into small chunks to make the learning go easier. He also uses a light, humorous tone that just added to an already delightful experience. I urge everyone to take a few minutes to check it out......

Yup! That's a great site! I started there when I first stared to learn Korean. I think you can learn the basics of Hangul in only a few weeks from it, it's not that hard. Wink

In fact, I mentioned that site and linked it in this post last fall: http://forum.koreandramas.net/topic_with_post_8586.html#8586

If I had the time to check every link, I wouldn't need mods now would I?

It's an excellent introductory site.
For just Hangul and pronounciation, also see:

Please check out this http://www.koreandictionary.net/

I personally made this dictionary and I add new words as I live my Korean life.

Romanization has also been added for those that can't read Hangul very well.

Everything is free.

How can I make the dictionary even better for you? Just send me a message and I'll try to cater the site toward your needs.

Thanks,
galbilover

Welcome galbilover! lol It took me a minute to figure out your screenname. I am used to seeing it as kalbi not galbi. BTW - same goes for kimchi which has been showing up as gimchi in dramas lately.

I checked out a bit of your dictionary. Good Job! It will come in handy. One thing I noticed immediately is that "a cold" should be under "C". In English you don't alphabetize by the definite/indefinite article (a, an, the) you alphabetize by the noun - in this case "cold".
