Finished Watching:
"You're Beautiful".
I got into this show while it was still airing in Korea which made things exciting. Laugh Out Loud
I loooved it. it wasn't perfect but it made me laugh and cry and earned the #3 all time fav drama spot in my heart.
"Mother Superior, my star is crying" Crying

Currently Watching:
"Everybody Cha cha", Ugh! Not loving this.
I'm around episode 77 and it is Dragggging. I've read some spoilers and I don't have much hope but I never give up on a daily if only out of habit.
To ease the pain of ECC I started watching "Smile, You". I'm only 4 episodes into what is a 40+ show but it's a nice light comedy and makes me forget the torture of Cha cha right now I'm hoping I can finish it.
"Empress chun chu", Almost over. The beginning was great. The end was going pretty it's that middle part I'm not sure about. But with the next few KBS historicals about nobles I'm going to enjoy all the buckle swashing I can get.

Planing to Watch:
I need to finish all the DotM dramas before Maria hunts me down. Laugh Out Loud
Slave hunters and Master of Study look interesting, I'll wait and check out the buzz once they get going.

FINISHED WATCHING:

You're Beautiful -- Liked it a lot!
Iron Empress -- Thought it was very well done from beginning to end.
My Fair Lady -- Enjoyed it!
Love & Obsession -- Riveting performances by two opposing actresses (who were beaten out of a KBS Drama Award by Jo An who plays Nayun in Jolly Widows (I guess popular beat performance!)

NOW WATCHING -- way way way too much!

IRIS --exceptional!

Jolly Widows -- at episode 108 things are getting interesting

Hot Blood -- Seeing our buddy EMO in a starring role has been good. Hate these "trauma" of the week shows that focus on one big problem that gets resolved quickly & then they move to the next one.

Three Brothers -- Each brother has a story...oldest brother drives me up a wall; middle brother's wife is an amazing actress; youngest brother is a total hunk & he and his girlfriend get stuck in the "trauma" of the week.

Hwangjini -- KBS is doing an ENCORE & I just love this one.

Taming of the Heir -- I'm probably going to give up...I love the lead actor but he is an idiot in this one & the story is totally ridiculous.

Reversal of Fate -- An interesting "switched at birth" story that just started. So far so good...

PLANNING TO WATCH

Just about everything that is offered Eek !

Finished Watching:

Queen Seon Duk - absolutely SUPER. Do not miss this one!
IRIS - another super one. Great story, great performances and a surprise ending!
Iron Empress - a decent series. Towerds the end I got into the "I can't wait to see how it turns out" mode.
The Queen Returns - light and fluffly. Nothing special but a great follow up to the heavier dramas I was watching.

Currently Watching:

Jolly Widows - I watch 15 episodes at a time and then start jonesing for the next 15. It isn't spectacular but it has kept my attention.
Invincible Lee Pyung Kang - another fluff piece but interting enough to keep me watching, slowly.

Planing to Watch:

Slave Hunters - this looks REALLY good.
Masters of Study - this looks VERY funny and Chun Chu is in it. Very Happy
Pasta - we are getting this for the VC and someone has to QC it.
Will it Snow for Christmas - this is a possible. I haven't decided yet.

Finished Watching:

The Sons of Sol Pharmacy House. This drama is now in my top three dramas of all time for me. I loved everything about this drama! Bouncing Grin You will go through every emotion inside of you. So get ready to LYAO! Cry Your Eyes Out! Kleenex a must! and Get so angry you want to throw something Angry / Fuming

Yeah it's that good Wink

Currently Watching:

Jolly Widows - Sadly while I watch this one it's not faithfully. This never ending storyline is ridiculous in my opinion. I could go on and on but for now unless something turns this drama around I will most likely stop watching it.

Planing to Watch:

IRIS
City Hall
Boys Over Flowers
Coffee Prince

Finished watching:
"Temptation of an Angel" -- Fantastic! Loved it, in spite of the sad ending.
"He Who Can't Marry" (Korean version) - Funny and entertaining story.

Currently Watching:
"He Who Can't Marry" (Japanese version) - Very funny, and I'm liking it even better than the Korean version.

Planning to Watch:
"When It's at Night" - This one looks really good, and I think Jim will love this one because it stars one of his favorite actresses, Kim Sun Ah
"Queen Seon Duk" - I'm not crazy about historicals, but I've heard terrific things about this one.
"Brilliant Legacy" - I've been wanting to watch this for some time, but have kept putting it off for one reason or another.

I'm planning to watch "Jolly Widows" at some future time in spite of the bad reviews, because I really like actor Lee Jong Won.

Let's see ...

Just finished watching:

Last Scandal of My Life - delightful. Worth watching just for the happy ending scene in the last episode. But really, very cute and funny throughout. Breaks my heart to think Choi Jin Shil is no longer with us. Very talented actress.

Truth - LOVED this drama. Couldn't stop watching. Ryu Siwon was awesome and sweet. Liked Choi Ji
Woo better in this than most of what I have seen her in.

In the middle of: Yi San - yeah, historical ... who'da thunk it? Clara sold me on it ... and she was RIGHT!

Soulmates - just started watching it - loving it. Very different than the norm for kdrama, at least so far.

Wonderful Life (again! 5th or 6th time through ... lol! Can't resist the drama that had me
fall in love with my LJH!!)

Next on the list to see: Super Rookie - since I won that copy and haven't gotten to it yet!
Secret - Christmas present

You know, I have only watched 15 or 20 episodes, but so far I haven't heard it referred to in any other way.

Lucas, please consider You're Beautiful in your future. You'll like it I am sure!

Lucas-- I am really enjoying Hong Gil Dong. I had only seen DJG as far as historicals go, and I really didn't know what to expect. I would highly reccommend it, it is so funny and silly in the beginning- and then gets so serious. I thought all 3 leads did a great job- usually when they have a love triangle I find someone uninteresting, but in this one both were quite good. I saw you liked it too--it hit all the right notes with me--I laughed and cried. The ghost ladies were pretty cool !!

I'm near the end Ep 22- I think I will feel sad when it's over

Lucas - while they don't really explain what IRIS stands for, it appears that it is an acronym for something. This is just an educated guess on my part though.

Finished Watching:
You're Beautiful
IRIS

I totally agree that Go Mi Nam in You're Beautiful is very Farm Girl. She also reminds me of Sally Field in The Flying Nun (you will only understand that if you are over 40!) Love that Pig-Rabbit!!!

Watching:
Hong Gil Dong
Chuno

Did anybody notice that the older female tavern owner in Chuno is the Gold Miss that owned the Pink Flower Shop in Pure In Heart? She was the one who was determined to marry World Cup Singer Bachelor Dude.

Desperately Trying To Watch But Only Comprehending about 1 in 20 words coz I can't find any English Subs:

Maji, WithS2 is subbing that series. Very Happy

Good news is, they are one of the best. Bad news is they only have episode 1 done so far. Razz
You can check Here to see where they are in subbing.

I'm 12 eps into Coffee Prince which has really been an enjoyable drama to this point. Smile

Finished Watching:
Angel's Temptation : Great drama...Loved it even though it was far fetched at times. But it's a K-dram what do you expect. Wink I liked the ending...made it different.

Currently Watching:
Smile Honey-cute and lighthearted
Three Brothers-good...for anyone who liked First Wives Club or Sol Pharmacy this one is following along those lines.
Jewel Bibimbap/Assorted Jewels -Off and on...its ok.

Planing to Watch:
IRIS
Boys Over Flowers ( I totally loved the Japanese Version but only got around to the 1st eps of the K-Version)
Beethoven Virus
City Hall (cuz Adrienne liked it so and my favorite KSS actress Kim Sun Ah is in it.)
When It's At Night (again Kim Sun Ah is in it)

I gave up on Jolly Widows a long time ago...I get bored of the "Ajumma dramas" kind of quick.

Youre' Beautiful/He's Beautiful I saw 1 or 2 eps but it reminded me of a mix of Coffee Prince and Boys Over Flowers. Nothing new and it didn't really impress me but I might give it a chance again if I have nothing else to watch.

Hwagjini was excellent. Son of Sol Pharmacy was very good.

Hot Blood I got truly bored with and gave up on that one. The whole car salesman thing to me was boring as hell. I think they are trying to get more Male viewers with this one.

Taming of the Heir for me is boring too I saw a couple of eps and it just did nothing for me...the leads were dull...the lead male was great in My Precious You but in this one he is so dumb.

Is Brilliant Legacy the Same as Brilliant Inheritance...If so I REALLY liked that one!

Finished Watching:
He Who Can't Marry - my new all-time favorite K-drama, and I'll just leave it at that because I've already said more than enough about it in the He Who Can't Marry thread.
Jolly Widows - I was really into it for a while, but I eventually just gave up on it. I never watch the 10:00 showing because I'm usually watching something else then, and once midnight rolls around, I'm either playing a video game or asleep.

Currently Watching:
Absolutely nothing

Planing to Watch:
Sadly, absolutely nothing, unless something else that looks totally amazing comes along. I still have very little interest in K-dramas at this point. c8w2

G you should join the VC or watch short dramas online. I have been watching all VC dramas now since I don't get WYBE anymore and the dramas have been much much better this way.
